submitted almost 10 years ago by Helfrd0771Mixologist

Just like last week I'll total up the flavors, "seconds", and up votes.

I'll be posting the new thread tomorrow morning.

So you want the impossible, is that what you're saying?

Precisely.

Medicine Flower Caramel FTW but it does have Diacetyl in it. So good, tho. Doesn't taste like burnt tires.

Alcohol. From Jamaican rum to whiskey all in one post. I feel like it could cover a broad range of flavors that are really not commonly used or discussed and don't have enough love for an entire thread individually. A post just about Jamaican rum maybe underwhelming but I would really like to see a thread on the broad list of alcoholic flavorings and everyone's experiences with them in this weekly format.

I will certainly do what ever the votes tell me, but as an ex drinker I'm a little worried about doing alcohol flavors.

I made a really earthly, nutty whiskey flavor that's been steeping for almost to months because it smells to good to dump, but to good to taste, if that makes sense.

Again, I will post whatever flavor gets the most upvotes, and written votes.

Have we done cream yet? I'd like to see a cream discussion, omitting semen jokes. Not sure if cream could be considered a flavor, per se.

I've got a flan flavoring I've been meaning to play with, does that count as a cream?

That could be interesting. I think that would be a grey area..kind of like more of a custard, maybe? I don't know. Sounds good, though. I do love me some flan.

How about pomegranate.

TFA Pomegranate Deluxe... discussion over. It will make you salivate just from smelling the bottle. It does an awesome job of actually emulating the true flavor of pomegranate and even lends some of the tartness of a true pomegranate. I picked up a 1oz bottle of it on a whim and almost immediately was out of it.

It's good, but have you tried LA? Definitely deserves a mention.

I'm also interested in what people are mixing it with. More berries? Lemonade?

  • TFA Pomegranate Deluxe 7%

I have both la pom and tpa Pom deluxe. Both are good, but tpa is more true to the real thing imo.
