Just a little something yummy...Been working on trying to perfect this for quite some time, have bounced between crunch berries and berry custard and a dozen other berry/cream variations with a bit of crunch before finally settling here. Notes under the recipe!
The Ultimate Crunch Berry Cereal
1.5% FLV Milk & Honey
3% FLV Crunch Cereal
3% FW Tres Leches
2% TFA Berry Crunch
1% FLV Boysenberry
0.1% FLV Coconut
0.2% INW Lemon Mix
0.7% FA Meringue
0.3% FA Joy
FLV Milk & Honey + FW Tres Leches and the hint of FLV Coconut work together to create a delicious, dare I say it, perfect cereal base that's not too terribly sweet. The FW Tres Leches also helps to bolster the "crunch" aspect of this. The FA Meringue helps to sweeten this base.
FLV Crunch Cereal and TFA Berry Crunch add the crunchiness to this. It's not overtly baked crunchy notes, if you wish to add more, you can add 1 drop of TFA Acetyl Pyrazine (5%) per 10ml. I prefer it without, but I can see how most may actually like it in there, AP is just weird to me though.
The FLV Boysenberry combined with TFA Berry Crunch delivery a wonderfully unique berry flavor here. @ 1% of Boysenberry and only 2% TFA Berry Crunch, the berry note isn't in your face but still very prominent.
The INW Lemon Mix and FA Joy finish this recipe off with a little bit of brightness added from the Lemon Mix and a little baked sweetness added from the FA Joy.
Mix at your own risk if you have the flavors as you are quite likely to replace your ADV.
This cereal base is wildly different than the majority of other cereal flavors I have seen. I love it, you may not.
Enjoyable as a shake and vape, ideal after a week steep.
Enjoy!
How is the throat hit on this one? I generally find cereal vapes to pack quite a throat hit, regardless of nic level.
This looks awesome /u/Botboy141. I've just started using FLV and keep getting impressed at their offerings. Crunch Cereal mixed with various creams produces some seriously interesting flavor profiles. I'm going to mix this up as soon as I get home
This looks awesome but sigh - I can't find anywhere that will ship FLV to Australia. Anyone? Any future plans perhaps?
Head to Flavorah. They ship directly to us downunderians =)
And don't forget to use FLV4EVER for your 10% discount!
Next time I make an order, I'll definitely be picking up the ingredients I need for this. I've been pretty bored with cereal vapes lately, but this looks like it could change that.
Really wish Flavorah would have replied to the email I sent them a few weeks ago. I wanted to buy their entire line, but never got a reply. Been like 3 weeks now, and at this point I don't know if it's a broken email, or just horrible customer service.
Broken email. Send another. They have excellent customer service.
How are you contacting them? I sent two messages to the email they have listed on their site, and got no reply either time.
It really doesn't matter now though, I'm as broke as a joke at the moment, don't even have a scale to mix with right now because mine got fucked up the other day. I was going to order their line and put my other order on hold because of the great things I'd heard, but after not getting a reply for a week just went ahead with my other order.
From my own little experiments 1% FLV Vanilla Custard is really nice to help create the milk note in cereal (I suppose you are using Tres Leches for that mainly). Could use instead of milk and honey for an interesting variation on the theme you have here. Fantastic work, having a lot of experience with FLV by now I can tell this would come out pretty delicious. Love the use of Joy to augment the cereal note as well. Great job!
Doesn't really relate, but does the flv milk and honey taste like cosmic fog milk and honey when mixed alone?
Don't think so, main notes on Cosmic Fog Milk and Honey are TPA Peanut Butter and TPA Banana Cream. No milk and no honey. The name of the juice is a biblical reference (Google it)
I have all of these apart from FLV Coconut, INW Lemon Mix and FLV Milk & Honey. Lots of lemon concentrates though...
Now FLV Crunch Cereal on the other hand, I almost heaved when I mixed this at 3% in a tester mix. Tastes absolutely RANK and tainted my tank for days. Could it be that I just got a bad batch?
WOW Nice work, I have been offering a crunch berry in my juice for a few months now but to be honest I was never completely satisfied with they results. I kept using meringue, tres leche, and sucrose as my main tools to add sweetness, they where all good but lacked they ability to properly accent the grain. You twist provides a method that I have not even considered. This recipe provides great insight on why my reciepe is not what it should be. They only confusing part is that I use tres leche in quite a few recipes, but when it 3% it takes over. Thanks
I placed a couple orders so I could make this (thank you for posting it!). In an unrelated order I got INW Lemon (not Lemon Mix). Haven't mixed with it yet but going off of smell? Holy shit this is the one. Have you tried it yet?
Just mixed up a batch and a few puffs in it's delicious! The lemon is definitely the most pronounced flavor after just a shake and vape. The juice smells super lemony too. Lemon Mix is SUPER potent it seems. I usually hate coconut in any juice but this is subtle enough to give just a hint of the flavor which pairs very nicely with the lemon.
This is my first time using most of these flavors (ordered for this recipe) so I can't speak too much on how it compares to similar recipes, but damn is this delicious. It's literally mouthwatering on the exhale, which for some reason I think is attributed to the milky/cereal base.
This is also the first one of your recipes I've mixed, botboy, after more than a year of learning from your posts. Thank you! Both for this mix and for being such a wealth of information for everyone here! I also got all of the ingredients to your rockin raspberry (except for the orange cream somehow... do you think it's absence would be detrimental to the juice?) which I plan on mixing up tomorrow night.
Can't wait to vape this after it's had some time to steep.
Thank you again!
This is a lot more refined cereal than I've been making recently, but along the same lines. Notably INW Lemon and FW Tres Leche(also the only flavors I don't have at the moment, damnit). I really like Milk & Honey for cereal milk vapes, and adding FLV Coconut is a great idea. Did you use v1 or v2? I just got v2 but haven't really been inspired to try it out with anything.
Flavorah makes really great flavors. I'm happy to see them posted more frequently.
I mixed up all the Flavorah flavors as singles and the Crunch Cereal really tastes milky to me, a little crunch but a lot of milk. Did you get that too?
This looks amazing by the way, going to have to get everything and give it a shot.
Definitely. I get crunch more than milk but it's definitely milky.
I have most of these for once :D Thanks for the mix, whipping it up now! Also I will mix anything posted with Tres Leches FW - its too good and not enough people know this.
1% FLV Boysenberry
0.1% FLV Coconut
0.2% INW Lemon Mix
Any subs for these?
Cheers boss.
Could leave out the Lemon Mix and coconut, no real sub for FLV Boysenberry but try your favorite berry.
Looks good gonna place an order for milk and honey and crunch cereal, could I sub flv coconut for inw?
I'm missing the lemon mix. Can something be subbed for it?
I'm missing two of the flavors and I'm lazy so...can I buy a bottle of this off you? I'm very curious.
Could I sub the lemon mix for anything else?
I've got FA Lime cold pressed, FA lemon sicily, TFA Key lime & FLV Lime.
I'd make an order for lemon mix but there's no Aussie retailers stocking it :(
Just skip it IMO. Will be just fine without it, it really just helps to brighten up the berries a smidge. You could try like 1 drop per 10ml of Citric Acid instead if you want but it's not super necessary.
Awesome. I'm gonna get around to trying this once joy arrives =)
Thanks for sharing brother. Upvoted.
Ouch - I mixed up a 30ml to test...have a good scale, but apparently didn't register the .06g of Lemon Mix until I was a couple drops over. Holy moly is Lemon Mix potent! I'm going to let it ride for a few days to see if it smooths in. Thank you for the recipe! If I can just wean my wife off of Coval's Crunchberry, I can finally quit buying prefab juice altogether.
Assuming you didn't go over 0.5% you should be fine in a few days. Yes, it is EXTREMELY potent realistic lemon flavor.
/u/Botboy141 , I was excited about this recipe. I started looking at concentrate profiles and seen the crunch cereal is like Frosted flakes? I plan to make the recipe anyway and post my thoughts once somewhere has it back in sock "everywhere is sold out".
I was hoping to find a Captain Crunch Berry recipe. Do you know anything about FW Captain Crunch? I was thinking it and TFA Berry Crunch would work, but I am sure as always it would need a lot of doctoring up.
I figure you probably tried it before and you probably got led down this road. Anyways just wondering what you thought. Love ya man! lol
Actually, I've never tried FW Captain Crunch. I'd say FLV Crunch Cereal is closer to a captain crunch / corn flakes than it is frosted flakes. There's definitely not much sweetness to it. I'd actually liken it mostly to Cheerios I guess...I dunno
Mixed this, Tastes best at a lower wattage to me, The lower wattage seems to let the smaller percentage notes come out and play a little more. That is one thing I hadn't done up until recently "adjusting temp to suit the flavors". If you bump it up to high you will kill the delight of this mix.
It is pretty damn good /u/Botboy141. Very well Balanced
