Hi folks, learned a lot from lurking this sub, thanks for your contributions. I finally have something to share as well.
I was looking for something simple, balanced and mellow enough for an ADV while using flavors most people would have for other recipes. To keep costs low, I focused on 2 flavor mixes and stumbled my way into the following mix:
7% Bavarian Cream (TFA)
6% Dragon Fruit (TFA)
Max VG, quick warm water bath. No steeping.
This is a very smooth, almost moist vape. The two flavors seem to compliment each other quite well. The dragon fruit brings out just a bit of sweetness and tang from the Bavarian cream. As the overall flavor is subtle, I can imagine this being a good platform to showcase another flavor. I think this is a good mix for newer DIYers who don't have a lot of flavors and for those who want a quick shake n vape.
I am interested in your guys opinions and any adjustments/additions.
This is crazy weird. I have a batch with the same base (plus extra stuff) under the same name! lol Great minds think alike.
Haha, that is weird! It was literally the first name that popped in my head when I decided to name it. If you don't mind sharing, what other things have you found it to work with?
Thanks for sharing! I've never used either of those that high but if I can ever get through this ridiculous backlog of single flavor testers I'll give this a whirl. I am also looking for 2-3 flavor mixes that are ADV material. I spent way too long screwing around with 8-12 flavor mixes.
I typically add 1 or 2 % to any recipe I find because I have permanent vape tongue, i'm sure lower percentages would be fine for others. Thinking of dropping it a little and adding some PG. I really like the idea of using minimal ingredients for a variety of reasons.
Love this recipe.. Make it time to time.. Reminds me of suicide bunny sucker punch. But the trouble I have with this mix is that it is like freshly baked bread... It's excellent as shake and vape but a few days the Dragon fruit losses the freshness and then it's a dull vape. I just wish if someone can make it to stay as it is right after mixing...
I love TFA's Bavarian cream and Dragonfruit sooo much. They make an excellent base. Try adding a little bit of blueberry extra (or wild, whichever you prefer) and some pomegranate. Sooooooooooo good.
Thanks for the recipe by the way. I made a recipe with all four but never thought of trying just the two together. :)
I was thinking that a tangy fruit would be served well by this as a base. I like your ideas and will try them at some point, need to stock up on fruits during this next buy.
You're welcome for the recipe, feels good to have something decent to give back to the sub :) I will certainly post anything else I come across, I'm exploring 2-3 flavor shake 'n vapes for people with lower budgets.
