Creating a well rounded Honeydew

Hey there. So I was recently scanning through predators new line, and stumped upon their "Abyss", which is a creamy honeydew flavor. So this got me thinking: I'll take the mustard milk recipe, substitute honeydew in at 5%. It turned out nice, however the honeydew is super flat.

What would you/have you used to compliment honeydew? I tried .5% dragonfruit, and it worked alright, but not really the flavor I was going for.

Recipe for those that would like to try. All TFA

5% Honeydew

8% Vanilla Bean I've Cream

.5% Dragonfruit

Possibly a little cantaloupe would help. I enjoy the cantaloupe/honeydew combo myself.

Add 0.5% INW Cactus, let it rest for a day (cactus very assertive without a nap).

That is, if you'r going for that candy-honeydew-jelly type of flavor. I find that cactus gives flavors in the melon family an almost marmalade type of flavor. It's good thou

Have you tried CAP Honeydew? I hate honeydew but I have friends who are nuts about the stuff. They all seem to use Capella.

I'm one of those individuals who are crazy about it, haha.

I haven't tried capellas. I had never heard anything promising about it, so I had never thought the try it out. I'll give it a whirl on my next order.

Have you tried searchbar for honeydew? I am positive I've seen at least one mega thread on it.

I just don't know the flavor well enough to guess. My GF is a honeydew fanatic but I just make her my basic natural honeydew extract blend at 1.4% and she's bonkers about it.

I've used both. Cap Honeydew has less of a bite. More like a real honeydew.

Cap honeydew is my second favorite behind TFA, Flavorwest is not worth buying, imo.

I like a bit of FA Kiwi with TFA Honeydew. If you like TFA Honeydew at 5% then I'd try FA Kiwi at 1%.

Personally TFA Honeydew has become super strong to my taste, so the highest I'd consider going is about 2.5% with .5% Kiwi.

The primary notes of the mix I'm vaping right now are watermelon and honeydew. Give watermelon a shot.

CAP Honeydew is good. The TFA tastes similar but it reeks. I mixed up 7% CAP Honey dew 2% CAP Custard and 4% TFA F. Vanilla Deluxe a while back and was quite pleased with the results.

I like mixing my honeydew with other melons for a more well rounded flavor. You could do 4% Honeydew, 3% cantaloupe and say 3% watermelon, all tpa. The results have been pretty promising. I just got FA watermelon yesterday, and mixed it up with some honeydew and creams, we'll see how it goes. Honeydew as itself just lacks the juiciness for me. It's good, but not quite "there"

TFA Kiwi Double and FA Cucumber are good independently for adding rind flavoring at under 1% and under .5% respectively- I have not tried them together. TFA Cantaloupe or TFA Orange Cream is good for adding sweet but plain body to it, no complexity added. Most apple flavors- especially FA Fuji is/are fanfuckingtastic with melon flavors for adding a pop a sweetness.

To me, Honeydew + Milkstone is indistinguishable from Abyss.

I add TFA Quince to honeydew some times, and really enjoy it.

Cucumber and try the slightest amounts of different berries until you find something that works...

I'd think that Marshmallow would probably help round out the fruit and creams as well.

3-5% tfa honeydew, 2-3% TFA pear Honeydew is strong and i don't recommend using it over 3%. Pear adds a nice pop to it and the 2 blend well together.
