Accidently ordered vanilla bean gelato (TPA) instead of vanilla bean ice cream (TPA) will this flavor throw off my recipes?

Yes it will throw your flavors off which is why VBG and VBIC are two different flavors

You know, I didn't want to be "that guy", but I mean what else can you say? It doesn't mean the recipe won't taste good or that it won't be similar, but if you're asking "Will it throw off my recipes?" - yes, yes it will.

Never used VBG but I know it's the diketone free version of VBIC, meaning it most likely uses Butryic acid. Just be careful using it at high percentages, it could start to taste like vomit due to the BA.

VBIC = acetyl propionyl; VBG = butyric acid. (A simplification.)

If you want to use VBG in place of VBIC, you should start by comparing /u/Fizzmustard's two alternate Mustard Milk recipes. Unfortunately, his method requires two extra flavors in addition to VBG. https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/33ns4t/mustard_milk_or_strawberries_and_cream_the/?

Yes.

They taste different and have different texture when vaping.

VBG is not as good, sad to say.

Knowing nothing of those two flavors, I'm betting you'll have to add some creamy flavor to the gelato to 'come back' to the ice cream. But I'm just guessing.
