Tweaked Snake Oil (Seduce Juice) clone just one more time, it's now "next level" (for me at least lol!)
submitted almost 10 years ago by ilikeycoffeeExtractor

So one of the non tobacco clones I've enjoyed off and on for months is the commonly found clone online of Seduce Juice's Snake Oil. If you don't know it, 5 parts pear, 3 parts cream (usually bavarian), 2 parts coconut. Try to hit 8-15% total flavourings in the eliquid.

I've varied out the creams - Bavarian TPA, Bavarian FW, Bavarian FA; Sweet Cream TPA, DX Sweet Cream TPA, Vienna Cream FA, etc etc. Stuck with a pear I like (Lorann! I know ppl rave about FA's Pear, but I like LA!). And though I'm not a huge coconut fan, I use it at the prescribed amounts, either TPA or LA. I go up or down on the percentages too, just to find a super sweet spot.

It's a nice vape. But man, the coconut was bugging me a bit. A few days ago, I was fooling around with Marshmallow (both LA and FW) and liking what it brought to different experiments. I was low on my Snake Oil eliquid, went to go mix up another batch, and though, hey man why not sub out some coconut for marshmallow. So I went 60/40.

Shake and vape... AWESOME. Holy crap. Slow cooker steep 4hr, tried next day, HOLY CRAP! Sooooo good. So I'm sharing!

SeduceJuice's Snake Oil, Mallow Edition

  • Pear (LA): 8%
  • Bavarian Cream (FW): 4.75%
  • Coconut (LA): 1.5%
  • Marshmallow (FW): 1.25%
  • 50/50 PG/VG

Shake like crazy and vape, or steep in a hot water bath for a few hours, try next day. Smoooooth.

I always have a bottle of this aging. It's best after about 3 weeks.

TFA or LA Pear 7/6% (both work well, but it's a totally different taste, I prefer the LA)

TFA Bavarian Cream 6% with TFA pear 7% with LA

LA Coconut 1%

Marshmallow 1% (I've used TFA and FA, either works, it's really just for mouthfeel)

I'll occasionally mix this with my cinnamon brown sugar custard. Turns it into a delicious pear pastry.

Fantastic eh! Did you post this recipe before? I must have missed it! I like what marshmallow brings to some recipes, I'm working on an article (like the wintergreen one) on Marshmallow now because of that.

Coconut's just never been a flavour I've liked much most of my life. I like that it can bring to recipes (like the Castle Long clone, or this one), but even a tad too much (too much for me is the normal prescribed amounts these recipes have) and it's the primary taste I notice. So I always look for ways to dial it down (not eliminate it but dial it down).

I feel the same about coconut, the tiniest bit too much and it's all I can taste. I think I like LA's because the taste seems to fade pretty quickly but the creaminess stays. I've also used FA meringue to achieve nearly the same effect.

7% Cap vanilla custard (I use V1, I'd knock it down to 5-6% with V2)

3% Cap Cinnamon Danish Swirl

1% TFA Brown Sugar

0.75% TFA Graham Cracker Clear

0.5% FA Catalan Cream (optional, I find it cuts the "bite" of the cinnamon a little, makes it a little more baked tasting)

It's ok shake and vape, but it really comes together after aging for 3-4 weeks. I don't like what heat does to custard, let this one age on its own.

Thanks so much! I'm definitely giving this a try.

I substituted for all TFA/TPA and maintained these percentages for I had all of these flavors, yet none from the specified company. DX Bavarian Cream was used instead of the original. It spent 10 min. in warm, not hot, water and received a mediocre shake. 70/vg 30/pg, cuz imma rebel and I premixed my vg/pg and had none in their original bottles.

It is a damn fine vape, though not as good as the OP's I'm sure. The pear is prominant. The coconut isn't overpowering, it does freshen up the flavor of the pear. More coconut could ruin the pear and become overwhelming. The bavarian cream and marshmallow are very subtle, almost hidden. If I made this again, I might up the percentages (perhaps double) the bavarian and marshmallow to add more cream flavors, but it isn't necessary. I've never had the original and this is my first experience of anything Snake Oil, so my opinions are less than valid and I have no reference point.

Bottom line, if you like pear to taste sweet and fresh this is a good combo of flavors. If going for creamy, add more than the OP specifies. I like this flavor combo, praise be to OP.

Thanks mate! This was my first try adding marshmallow to this recipe; next time I brew it up, I'm going to try some of your variants too to see how it works for me. :D

Cheers dude. I was always put off by the coconut so I'll give this a go.

I'm going to try this with some Milkstone, FA Pear @ 3% and TFA Toasted Marshmallow.

Thanks for posting it!

Is it "Pear, Natural" on Lorann's site?

I don’t have LA pear, I can order TFA or FA, which would work the best and what percentage?

This is one of my staple recipes! (the original clone) so I'm looking forward to mixing this up!

Nice. I actually mixed up something similar to this yesterday but haven't tasted it yet. I just had a feeling that marshmallow would be good in this. I'm really loving INW pear right now. It's great, especially when combined with a little FA Pear. I think I probably went to high on my coconut % though. I'll find out in a day or so. Thanks for the post.
