My very first recipe was 7% TFA Strawberry and 9% TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. A year and a half later, we have Mustard Milk. One percent difference on both flavors. Fuck me, I could have been popular back then.

I didn't start with any recipes, just mixed whatever fruits I thought would be good. I lurked here for about a month or two just gathering information on how to use what flavors, and used that to make my own fruit recipes.

My first recipe was a tropical fruit, I didnt write it down but it was a pretty equal part flavor west recipe with 3 or 4 fruits, I do remmber having Pina Colada and menthol in it, definitely a tank cracker

The reason I got into DIY was /u/project_twenty5oh1 releasing the recipe for Tundra (not called that at the time), a thing that he had been talking about for quite a while at that point. When he published it I said "Well, there you go, there's no reason to keep avoiding it now, you have a recipe to make for a juice you know you love, might as well just get out the card and make the orders".

And so I did. I also got enough ingredients to make one of /u/skiddlzninja's recipes, a modified 'nana Cream flavor. I mixed and vaped both of those for 2 full months before ordering enough new flavors to branch out and start coming up with flavors on my own.

I only have one recipe of my own that doesn't taste like hot garbage, a watermelon heavy variant on Tiger's Blood. I need to tweak the percentages one last time as I'm not "there" on the balance between watermelon and strawberry, but the menthol/koolada/coconut are perfect (in my opinion). Jasmine! That one sucked. I blame the flavor... Tastes a little bitter.

Lavender! I still love it. Very refreshing vape.

Now, my personal favorite is Rose Candy. That's what the flavor is called. I just use about 10% of that with the rest 100%VG 6mg/ml nicotine.

I honestly haven't got into mixing different flavors too much... I really just like the pure versions, maybe with a touch of menthol. I did however like the Rose Candy Lavender mix.

My first foray into DIY was a mitigated disaster. I tried a few recipes from eliquidrecipes (mainly HIC) and only one was halfway decent. I was pretty despondent and went back to buying 'premium' juices for an extortionate price. About 2 months later I came across this thing called reddit and discovered this sub.

I browsed around for a bit and gave it another go and found a few decent recipes that I thought I could put up with just to save money. Then one magical day a guy called u/fizzmustard was mentioned along with his recipe for Mustard Milk. I tried this and it honestly changed the way I vape. I haven't looked back since and have now well and truly fallen down the rabbit hole.

My first was trying to recreate the slurricane clone on ELR, doesn't taste anything like slurricane haha but it was tasty, it was sweet strawberry, sweet Tangerine and juicy peach, can't remember percentages though.

My first mix was a Honey Pearry clone that I still adv today.

I love Uncle Junk's Keystone, so I tried to clone it. Never did got it right, but I've been really happy with what I eventually developed.

If you're wondering what to make first, I would just find a recipe that looks tasty to you, and buy the ingredients for that.

My first recipe was 5% TFA Brandy, 3% TFA Bavarian Cream, and 1% TFA Dragon Fruit. It wasn't terrible. Right now I'm loving my coffee extraction 7.5% plus TFA Bavarian Cream 5%. It's really really good.

Like many others, my first juice was a strawberry cream. Extremely simple but pretty decent. TFA Ripe Strawberry 5% TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream 5%
