TFA Jackfrut.... wat do?
submitted almost 10 years ago by EizoozProud Sidebar Reader!

What do I add to this. It's a mediocre juicy fruit kinda thing by itself and u tried adding tfa lemon lime and sweetener but it doesn't really mesh with anything else.

Yeah I've got some jackfruit that I'd like to see put to good use, hopefully some people come in that have experience with it

Have you
tried searching?

To be fair, I didn't search. I just assumed it would be recipes that have it as an accent which seems to be correct. I'm more interested in like discussing it and figuring out if/how it can be used.

Edit: I guess what I'm saying is, if it's destined to be an accent ignore/dv this post. If people are interested in building flavors around this juice, I'm down

I use jackfruit in place of pineapple sometimes. I've mixed it with blueberry, pleasant vape..

I shared a great recipe I came across in the lab that features jack fruit pretty prominently in this sub a week or so ago. Im on mobile or I'd link you to it. It's called t.f.d. just type that in the search bar and youll find the recipe. Be eager to hear thoughts on it actually.

I usually jackfruit as more of an accent to make other fruits pop.

Try dragonfruit and a touch of sour. It also pairs excellently with whichever pineapple and (hangsen iirc) mango if you're trying to "amp up" the fruit cocktail vibe. But YMMV.

Search for blackjack clone. Jackfruit and dragon fruit are pretty good in many mixes

Have never tried the original, but I have a recipe based off the profile.

3% TFA jackfruit

2% TFA blackberry

2% TFA dragonfruit

1% FA lemon sicily

1% FA grapefruit

2% TFA sour

Pretty good sweet vape, but still needs some work.

This sounds pretty good. May tweak the lemon and grapefruit for inw lemon and FLV pink guava respectively which I think will eliminate the need for the sour. Maybe another with some golden pineapple.

CAP golden pineapple could work, I'll have to try this myself. Tried TFA pineapple before but with the jackfruit and blackberry already in there, it killed my throat.

If you try it, please let me know how it turns out. You probably won't, but at least I tried ;).

Heh mine was a little bit more simplistic...

7% jack fruit

2% blackberry

Jackfruit works great to add a bit of depth to tropical fruits, as others have noted. Also, if you mix 4 parts Jackfruit to 1 part INW Cactus, the results are wonderful. I used this combo as the top note in one of my recipes, but in my eyes the deep, earthy base notes are the star here. I'm really not sure what else you could do with Jackfruit besides add it atop a booze-type base note.

so i have TFA Sweet Cream DX and FA Sweet Cream, which would be a better sub do you think?

I've never used FA Sweet Cream, but to my knowledge FA tends to be a bit more flavorful, so maybe kick it down .50 - .75 and test it from there

Have that one sitting around the house.

Smells like rotten pineapples.

Noty.

Weird. To me it smells and taste like a sweet mix of pineapple and peach. The smell alone gets my mouth watery.

I sometimes use either sweet cream or champagne to accent odd fruit flavors.

Add a little sweetner, koolada, menthol or lemon based on the fruit, and choice from above.(Just like cooking food, some fruit vapes really pop with the a little lemon or koolada I think), and boom.

I love a creamy vape with just a couple drops of koolada, it makes it like a cold milkshake.

I am on fence with jackfruit. I bought it because someone said it tastes like a pineapple or something. Got it, made stand alone, and it tasted like what a 2day old mango out of the garbage would possibly taste like. So I got like a 29ml bottle over here... I'm just scared to use it ha

Here's a work in progress, mixed it last night; wasn't bad shake and vape, I think it has a chance to be good after aging. Initial tasting gave me a tropical smoothie vibe. I'll probably play with it some more.

TFA Jackfruit 4%

TFA Dragonfruit 2%

FA Lemon Sicily 0.75%

TFA VBIC 1.5%

CAP Vanilla Custard 1.5%

This is my original recipe that has been my adv for probably two weeks now:

5% Jackfruit TPA

1% Mango TPA

1% Marshmallow FA

.8% Vanilla bean ice cream TPA

It's a very smooth and mild jackfruit cream vape. Let me know if you like it!

Try this recipe by /u/five_magics https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/33jbj9/fruit_and_candy_flavor_request/cqpbhzt

I suggest OP to try my up-to-date version instead, which I already posted in this thread.

The iteration you posted was harsh on the throat (at least to me), probably due to ethyl alcohol.

Just messing around I created this really good jackfruit and anise flavor but I failed to take notes :(

Oh man, I just made a Jack-fruit recipe that I called Exotica :-) Am not ready to share yet because I still don't know how does it taste ! since I mixed it 3 hours ago, and I will let it mature for the next couple of days. The recipe shouldn't take long to mature.
