This journey started on accident kind of. I'm glad it did. Trying to find all the ingredients for funfetti was driving me insane so I tossed FW cbd and yellow cake in my cart. Next day (payday) when I realized I I needed to spend ten bucks for free shipping, and shipping is ten bucks I went for more flavors and found the sugar cookie I needed. Made funfetti and its great. Then to FW cbd. Trying this flavor alone at 6% was surprisingly very tasty. It simply tastes like if you blended a slice of cake with ice cream and sprinkles. Very filling mouth feel, like throat hit with no hit. I don't really know how to explain it.
All that said, I made a funfetti batch sans marshmallow and sugar cookie and subbed 6% FW cbd. Shaked and vaped.
Holy shit is this flavor amazing. The... Mouth feel (?) is incredible. The flavor is incredible. I feel like I have a mouthful of cake and icing, but in a very different way from the original.
Anyone else tried this flavor? First time sharing here but I'd never seen anything made with this flavor. I'd love to hear some feedback. For anyone unfamiliar with the recipe, here's what I used.
I did Max VG and 3mg

-2% CAP Vanilla Custard v1
-.75% FA Joy
-3% TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust
-3% TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

I actually just got some in recently and am solo testing it, has potential in my opinion and am glad I picked it up on a whim...like it so far and need to see what else can use it with..I can see picking more of this flavor up in next order again

How does CAP's compare to TFA? I've only used the TFA version but was considering CAP in my next order.
I get very intense black pepper smell/taste from TFA VBIC. None of the sort from Cap's VBIC. Because of this, I am assuming that TFA's might be stronger than Capella's version, but I've found that above just 4%, Cap's gives a perfumey taste, which would tell me that Cap's is quite strong, too. Since I can't vape the TFA version, whenever that is called for, I just sub with CAP VBIC 1:1 and it turns out pretty good.
Does anyone think Cap Cake Batter could be subbed? hmmm I might try it just to see what happens.
cake batter is a whole different type of flavor and will overpower anything if you use it over 3% IMO. Id try .5-1% out at first. But if you get to ordering more flavors Flavor west cake batter dip is great
Sounds like you're saying fw cbd is nothing like cap cake batter? I've been wanting a cake batter flavor, really want to like cap's (since I have a whole bottle), but I just hate it. Is fw cbd comparable to any other flavor you can think of? BTW, what i dislike about cap cake batter is not only that it's overwhelming, but that it has this plasticky, chemically aspect that I don't get from other creamy-type cap flavors.
Cap cake batter is super potent but even at .5-2% it adds a harsh peppery note I just dont like at all. FW cake batter dip is kinda similar to, FW yellow cake but doesnt gunk my coils as bad and it doesnt have as much of a powdery dry taste that yellow cake has at high percents. Its delicious, but it isnt a perfect cake flavor so it needs more creams and flavors like CAP sugar cookie or TFA cheesecake w/ graham to back it up
hmm, I think I will try this one out, with and without FA Marshmallow.
I personally think marshmallow would over sweeten it and detract from the rest

Would there be any substitute for the FA Joy? Or would the recipe suffer terribly without it? I'm trying to buy everything I need to try this in one go, rather than place two separate orders.
It's fairly strong and I think it lends a lot to the flavor. That said I think it'd still be a solid juice without it.
I played with this recipe a bit and came up with a pretty decent lemon cake. Added 6% lemon sicily (cap) and subbed cap vc and vbic with 2% vanilla cupcake. Also subbed cheesecake with 1% cream (flv). Came out super sweet and cakey with a background lemon. Might try it with the custards later.
Thats crazy, I did the same recipe two weeks ago, its delicious but it definitely gets SOOOO much better after 2-4 weeks. The only difference is I added .5% LA cream cheese icing, after it steeps I dont taste cream cheese just more of a sweet vanilla icing.
I saved this post so I could go back and reference it the next time I mixed. Holy shit, this stuff is surprisingly good for a simple recipe! I wanted to wait at least a week before I commented, but it was good fresh and it's only getting better as it ages. The creaminess and mouth feel is beautiful, and the CBD is the perfect sweet, cupcakey base for this juice. I'm going to play with add-ins now, maybe some CAP Juicy Lemon, or CAP Golden Pineapple for a fruity twist, or TFA Vanilla Cupcake and FW Yellow Cake for extreme cakeyness.
