Come on now... You really thought someone had done that. This isn't a game. In never ends. Every time i go on this sub I open my shopping cart on my suppliers website and just start clicking.... Damn this sub.
Man, I was just thinking I could use some reassurance (about to make my first order), so I totally clicked for the list. You got me, OP. :)

The future looks dark. Or fun. Can't decide.
I read the title and thought "Yeah, right. Did he buy them all?"
For curiosity's sake, anybody know for sure what all of the manufacturers that we can buy from are? Thinking of scraping websites to get a complete list of all of the flavoring we can get. I just don't want to leave anybody out.
Gotta catch 'em all! :P
There are a lot of disgusting flavors out there. The sidebar will show you recipe lists which in turn will show you the flavorings. Also, e-liquid-recipes.com has a flavor list with ratings and recipes they are used in. That's how I started out.
> There are a lot of disgusting flavors out there.
I don't know about a lot, but there are a few. :P
My question was about manufacturers. Ever hear of Bickford Flavors, Newport Flavors, Baker Flavors, or Best Flavors? They've all been mentioned here at least once but I'd be surprised if they were in the sidebar.
I know all about CAP, FA, FE, FLV, FW, INW, JF, LA, NF, and TFA. Once you start getting into Baker, Medicine Flower, and Bickford, things are a little more obscure. I know there are other manufacturers people use, they're just not that easy to find.
And the flavorings list at ELR is probably the biggest reason I don't use it more than I do. 30,000 flavorings? There's a lot of duplicates. The problem is that people get tired of typing and start abbreviating things, vendors don't always use the same names as manufacturers, and then there's confusion over name changes, versions, and even TPA vs. TFA. Then there's the entries for McCormick and Watkins. No, just no.
My idea (sparked from this thread) was to gather the names of every flavoring we would use straight from the manufacturers. This would provide a list of 'official' names for all of the flavorings but would also give an idea of just how many flavors are out there. I recently hit 300 flavorings with more in the shopping list. I'd like some idea of when this madness ends. :P
People do flavor science as careers for their entire lives, I've seen some real passion for it.
There are hundreds of chemicals that make a flavor unique.
For example a simple cup of tea, a yellow or green tea brewed in the traditional Chinese fashion is a very distinct taste. Compare that to an Earl Gray which is smoked with orange oil or Rooibos.
So if you call the flavor "tea" it could mean a lot of different things. Sweet iced tea comes to my mind.
I've been studying Soy drinks and the flavors used in them.. black bean and melon soy milk?? Sounds nasty to me, but these are the most popular flavors in the eastern markets.
I can really see how this could take up a lifetime. 1000 years wouldn't be enough time to play with all the millions of potential combinations out there.
I've just started ordering serious bulk, and want to take advantage of the prices without having gallons of flavoring sitting around. I'm thinking maybe a flavor exchange or cheap 30ml deals for others in this subreddit.
i just keep adding flavors to wishlists on a few sites. i make the order when i have enough flavors to justify the shipping, and/or flavors on the wishlist are back in stock.
