For if you like Yoga Pants
I'm working on it!
Six variations in right now. Through testing I've determined I like TFA chai, CAP gingerbread, and FW pumpkin spice. Hopefully, fingers crossed, I will have something ready for everyone this weekend.
Hows fw pumpkin spice? TFA's pumpkin taste like black pepper and water to me, and capellas pumpkin spice is extremely strong and harsh. I gave up on pumpkin last year :(
I tested it versus CAP Pumpkin Pie (Spice) and felt it had a better pumpkin front note. It was surprising to me because I was expecting CAP to be better. It's also much better than TFA Holiday or Pumpkin spice, IMHO. It hits every note, except clove, and is very tasty. TFA Chai has a clove note that fills in, in my recipe.. CAP Chai is also good, but no clove note. One of my tests today is TFA Chai vs. CAP Chai + FA Clove.
FW Pumpkin Spice will likely be the base for my Pumpkin Spice recipe, but I have an NF order coming in tomorrow that could change things.
I've been doing variations of this recipe for awhile. I'm vaping this mix right now:
1.75% TFA Pumpkin Spice
3% TFA Pumpkin
1% FA Coffee Espresso
3% TFA French Vanilla Cream
1% FA Fresh Cream
.5% Cap Super Sweet
I need to work on the cream mix a little more, and can suggest upping the espresso to 1.5% because of the sweetness. Pretty tasty.
I heard tfa chai goes well with pumpkin spice but i havent tried anything pumpkin as of yet
I've tried about 6 versions so far, I've settled on this one for the time being:
9% TFA Pumpkin
2% TFA Marshmallow
2% Cap Pumpkin Pie Spice
2% Cap Graham Cracker v2
2% TFA Coconut
2% TFA Whipped Cream
1% TFA Cotton Candy (EM)
Go easy on me, just getting started with DIY and this is the first thing I've mad public ;) Overall, I like the balance of flavor. May try a little bavarian creme in next batch.

Somewhat related question here. Does tfa still produce regular pumpkin? I have a great recipe with regular pumpkin but it seems it's not available anymore, unless I'm just looking in the wrong places. I think it was the third recipe I made and it was perfect for the fall. It was a mix of all tfa...pumpkin, dulche de leche, and caramel I believe. I'd have to look up the exact recipe if anyone wants it.
yeah, I'd like to see it
Take this with a grain of salt, it was literally one of my first recipes lol. My notes show that someone told me 7% was the optimal % for tfa pumpkin, so I went with that being new to diy. One of my firends that loves pumpkin, really enjoyed this one. I like TFA pumpkin over pumpkin spice personally. Youll most definitely want to fine tune this one, but the flavors work well together regardless for me.
- TFA Pumpkin 7%
- TFA Caramel 3%
- TFA Dulche de Leche 2%
- TFA Vanilla Swirl 1%
Pumpkin Spice
- 4% FW Pumpkin Spice
- 3% TFA Gingerbread
- 2% TFA Chai Tea
- 0.5% FW Ginger
- 0.5% FLV Rich Cinnamon
