Made a Cigar Flavor last week. Wanted to share...
submitted about 10 years ago by CwithoutanE

My first attempts at DIY fluids started last week with a order from wizard labs...

I've been vaping mostly fruit flavors but have been missing my American spirits and occasional cigars from time to time.

I'm pretty impressed with this 10 ML mix of cigar flavor I concocted. Just vape it after a week of hiding it in the dark. Pretty delicious.

Consists of

12 mg 100 percent VG Solution

8% Cubano Flavor Concentrate by TFA

4% Cheesecake NY Style Flavor Concentrate by LA

Both very light. But noticeably pleasant.

Enjoy.

TFA Cubano is a surprisingly good accent flavor, and no one ever mentions it. I just got a 4 oz. bottle in the other day, after vaping my sample up in no time.

I haven't tried it at such high percentages, though. I'll have to see what that's like!

way back when, i used to vape cubano @ 5% out of a protank II ENDLESSLY. i loved it. i've since moved on to other, better tanks and it just doesn't taste the same. i don't know what it is, but it went from my ADV to awful.

If you have any hanging around, try it at 2% or so, with a creamy/custard base. I'm playing with it in a tobacco butterscotch custard. It seems like a strong flavor to me, and between better gear and a returning sense of taste, 5% may just be too much.

This makes me sad because Cubano tastes like bell pepper to me and apparently it doesn't do that with other people.
