Cuttwood's getting wrecked.

Premium juices as a whole are. Their own fault for marking up the product to fuckery. My unicorn milk clone cost £1 (so $1.50 ish?) for 20ml. That's 12 times cheaper than my local vape shop sells it.

You don't pay for bottling, labelling, insurance, licencing or the 100% markup from the B&M though....

by jakeabbottabout 10 years ago

Exactly. They probably profit about $3 dollars per bottle when all is said and done.

You know nothing about running a business. Please do not speak like you have the knowledge or experience to be an authority on the subject.

Actually, I do. But that has jack shit to do with it. Plenty of companies out there do the same for less. All with similar boxes to tick. Similar overheads. Similar everything. And still do the same thing cheaper. So even if I didn't have a clue, this is simple enough for a monkey to understand. Speaking of which, jump off that high horse of trying to belittle anyone whom you deem uninformed despite not having a clue how the hell they are. This is a DIY subreddit. Who REALLY gives a shit?

Your just some idiot kid. This guy apparently knows more than you. I sell juice and make a nice profit off of $10 for a 30ml glass bottle. I paid 5k for insurance and operate without a B&M because its pointles

Darn no cinn bread or cinnamon spice. I do have 12.00 FLV Rich Cinnamon coming. Lol

by billgarmsarmyabout 10 years agoFrugivore

so worth it. rich cinnamon wrecks all other cinnamons in my mind.

Why are the recipes different?

1 points

by iamgr3mabout 10 years ago

Probably different versions. They're both probably good but he has trouble picking which one he likes better. Plus hardly anyone uses HS.

I personally do not taste TFA's cinnamon spice in sugar bear at all. Cinnamon bread sounds pretty bomb though!

How close would you say this is ?

Trying to order and I can't find Sugar Bread and Cookie.

Usually order from Wizard Labs. You got a link to those to flavors? Please.

  • [Sugar Bread @ RTSVapes] (http://www.rtsvapes.com/Cinnamon_Bread_Flavor_HS_p/t565-030.htm)
  • [Cookie @ ECX] (http://www.ecigexpress.com/diy-e-liquid/browse-flavorings/dessert-flavors/cookie-by-flavourart.html)

I tried to find them both in one place, RTS Vapes has them both, but the smallest size for Cookie (FA) I saw was 250mL.

250ml... Jesus.

Made this but subbed TPA cinnamon with 0.3% FLV Rich Cinnamon and replaced the Sweetener with 1% Cap Graham Cracker and it is very, very tasty after an overnight steep.

I mixed it up. Way too much cinnamon IMO. I think it's the cinnamon spice that pushed it a little over the top.

where do i get 5% PG. Are they any good vendors for it? I've neber heard of it.

by Daztasticabout 10 years ago

If you add the % of the flavourings it comes to 25% so I'm assuming he means that you add another 5% of your pg to the mix to make it 30%.

by clonedejuiceabout 10 years ago

PG is an abbreviation of propylene glycol.

Adding the PG is optional, but it will get the consistency of the ejuice at the same PG/VG ratio as store bought Sugar Bear without changing the flavor profile.

by ThirdWorldOrderabout 10 years ago

What is VG?

1 points

by clonedejuiceabout 10 years ago

Vegetable Glycerin.

OP has spent time trying to clone Cuttwood Sugar Bear.

Using different variations of flavorings and also through a tedious testing of different recipe combinations......these recipes represent the best attempt OP can provide us of a Sugar Bear clone

by Venterinoabout 10 years ago

Yes but you'd figure he would write something more than "clones? :P". That's why it seems a bit shady, I know that if I were to clone one of the most popular juices, and do it great/spot on I most certainly would give some backstory lol There are other clones of sugar bear and there have been for a long time, what makes this better than the rest?

It makes it more intriguing and makes you want to mix it up that much more.

by iamgr3mabout 10 years ago

A backstory doesn't make the juice taste any differently so whats the point in looking for one?

by clonedejuiceabout 10 years ago

@Venterino I was paying a lot of $ for Sugar Bear about 2 years ago, it was the only flavor I was consistently vaping at the time. I made the first recipe (I prefer to make 20/80) just my own variation and it came out really good. The first variation has been picked up by a few shops and I have gotten consistently positive feedback on it.

The second recipe is almost the same as the first, Cinn Bread is almost the same as Cinn Roll in flavor, just slightly different. The second recipe is what I have been testing since the first basically. PG is optional in the second recipe, but it gets the 30/70 consistency if that's what you want.

Try Capella Graham Cracker at 15% with 1% Stevia. It is Sugar Bear.

1 points

by ontemabout 10 years ago

What is Stevia? I have the Graham Cracker and can't find a use for it...

1 points

by erp0432about 10 years ago

Stevia's a sweetener. Capella has a line of Stevia sweetened flavorings.

1 points

by ontemabout 10 years ago

So I couldn't use another sweetener to get a similar result?
