These labels are great to get designs down pat and for small scale sales. I'm still trying to find a cheap place that will make matte/glass labels.
Here are ours! http://i.imgur.com/xDuesZp.jpg
I've tried these labels before and they're great until you have to peel them off to clean the bottles. Now if you're selling the bottles or giving them away to fam/friends then it's no biggie. I just hated how they would partially peel off and leave a glue residue on the glass.. Just my useless 2¢.
for whatever reason i've found they peel off my clear glass better than anything else.
also i'll peel off the old label. mix in the bottle. then put the bottle in the UC before relabeling. after an hour in the UC the residual goo comes right off.
Damn an hour, what UC do you have? mine does like 5 minutes at a time and stops.
i have this one i can run it up to 30 minutes without worry.
i use it for steeping and to clean my glasses. no ragrats.
I use those same labels as well. I use Avery's design & print software to design my labels. It's free and easy to use. I wish they were water proof, but they work great for me.
If you don't mind using tape, put Dollar General brand tape over it. 100% clear and never falls off. That is if you have DG where you live.

These are the clear matte, I like them better.
The clear are cool too but limit the design visibility.
And their Maestro Label Designer works well and you get it free when you make an order
Working on designs myself
Yeah honestly though I'm not really a fan of the clear label look on bottles. I like to have a solid label, and then I like to leave an open window in the back so you can see into the bottle easily. That's just me though.
EDIT: Those are also really expensive compared to these. Also Avery sells a clear matte label of the same style as mine for a similar price to the white ones.
