So I had my first experience drinking Nehi peach soda today. I'm not a big soda drinker but damn this stuff is good. Basically looking to recreate that wonderful peach flavor in the soda. I believe I can taste a very small amount of strawberry and banana that rounds out the peach in the drink. It's like juicy peach but I'm thinking I'm going to need to try a few different peaches, possibly combine two. I'm thinking I may need to combine tfa juicy peach and tfa peach to get what I'm looking for....any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated. Or just tell me how good that soda is lol
After a few iterations, I've had some success with TFA peach (regular ol' peach) mixed with FW dew.
TFA Peach 7.5%
FW Dew Soda 2.5%

Peach is market driven in flavor because there are so many peach varietals. I've never tried Nehi, is that a local popular drink?

I recently moved down to Virginia and had the pleasure to have one today. It's bangin. Like said, it's really a southern soda but apparently va has it lol.
It's a drink I have been drinking since I was five. I, too, am in the dirty south. It's popular down in these here hills. And, yes, it's the best peach soda around.

Peach is by far my favorite flavor to vape. I've never had the drink you're talking about but I'll look for it and try it out. I almost always put TFA Strawberry in my fruit mixes and it goes especially well with peach. I'll put less in to boost the sweetness or more to add a stronger back note of strawberry along with the sweetness, depending on what I'm trying to do. I recently got some TFA Apricot and have been adding it at about .5-1% and it really helps boost the peach flavor, TFA Dragonfruit at .5-1% is also a good addition.
I've heard a lot of good things about FA White Peach for a more realistic peach. TFA Juicy Peach is the only one I've tried, it's a good artificial peach ring type flavor. I think it should work well for the flavor profile you described. I have some INW Peach and Cactus coming in soon that I'm looking forward to trying. INW Cactus is supposed to add a wet mouth feel, you could also try some TFA Champagne to add a carbonated effect.
So I must be correct about the drink then. There's definetly strawberry in it to boost the peach in the soda. I have fa white peach and it's not "juicy" enough for this. Great flavor though.
I gotta re up on my fruit flavors. Been a bakery nut for awhile and been getting more into fruits lately. I'll grab me some tfa strawberry and tfa juicy peach and play with it. And I'm gunna try some cactus to make it a bit juicier. Will report back with some testing and initial recipe. Thanks for the info. FYI amazon sells nehi lol totally worth it
Get tfa dragonfruit and apricot while you're at it. Dragonfruit will boost peetty much any flavor, even creams and is a must have in my opinion. Apricot is great at boosting fleshy fruits like melons and pit-fruits.
Yeah TFA juicy peach and strawberry are a really good vape IMO. There's a lot that I've done and am gonna attempt with that base. I've been meaning to pick up FA White Peach but forgot it in my last order lol. I have a feeling TFA juicy peach with FA white peach will give a really good peach base that I'm looking for, haven't actually tried white peach yet though so that's just going off what I've read.
I just picked up 4oz of TFA juicy peach, I love the stuff lol. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. I used to buy peach flavored sparkling water and drink like 2 liters of that shit a day lol, definitely gonna try that Nehi stuff.
FA white peach is a very realistic white peach flavor. It's great but not juicy. So I think juicy peach mixed with white peach will be awesome.
I just ordered up some stuff to start working on this recipe. I've started testing with some flavors I have and it's definetly peach strawberry and banana to create the peach candy flavor. I was looking around and was hoping to find a peach candy or peach rings flavor, but I think juicy peach tfa is the closest thing. Definetly need a backing of banana and strawberry for this recipe.
No idea what nehi is, BUT- Capella yellow peach, cap juicy peach and tfa nectarine in a 3, 2, .5 ratio will give you something tasty with a pulpy bite. Similarly tfa and cap juicy peach with tfa strawberry will give you a bright sweet peach. Adapt the ratios in parts as if it were a base and not a mix, and you can add this to a soda or champagne base.
