Can anyone suggest a good cheaper scale that does .01 grams?? the only ones i see only go up to 100 grams

The one you linked only has a max capacity of 100g, and likely shuts off automatically after a minute since it's only battery driven. It could be more accurate than the LB-501, but I don't think it's as good for DIY liquid making.

well yeah if you are mixing more than 3.5 ounces

for personal stash mixing it would be good... retail mixing maybe not

Have you ever had a scale shut off while you were in the middle of adding flavors, or nicotine? It's incredibly frustrating. That alone is enough for me to not use these type of scales.

You're forgetting bottle weight. A lot of people don't like using plastic(for some silly reason) and a glass bottle takes about 25g.

I survived using the AWS-100 for the first couple months of DIY, but my AWS-501 is absolutely worth the $30.

I'm using a scale that only does 100g, which is plenty of weight for a 30ml bottle. Then again, I only use the scale for my flavors; vg, pg and nic all get measured out with a syringe.

What is the weight of the bottle? I only really mix 30 ml at a time. It may work for me.

About 6 grams or so. I use plastic, not sure about glass weight.

Glass seems to be about 40g for me, I easily still have enough weight to mix 30ml with my 100g scale.

sorry for slowwww reply mate, still pretty new to reddit and figuring it all out, them scales are perfect for for diy ejuice, i am knocking up 10ml batches with them and accurate as fuck, shipping may vary, i am in the uk, but took approx 12 days , they are a bargain and seem pretty good value, if you get 12 month out of them (sure you will get longer) they will be well worth the price

Go to your local head shop and purchase a hundredth scale. It works pretty well for me since starting out but you will have an issue with them turning off automatically.

If it goes up to 2kg and is only $14, but resolves to .01, I don't know how much I'd trust the accuracy. Of course, I have a milligram scale that I use, but it ran me ~35 for 100g load, which was a reasonable price at the time
