Blue Raspberry Update

Hey Guys,

I had a post a while ago talking about Blue Raspberry. I have tried OSDIYS by itself, with some other raspberries mixed in, and with blue raspberry cotton candy CAP. Today, I got a bottle of Silver Cloud Estates "Imitation Blue Raspberry Extract" and mixed it up at ~10%. I think this is the "Blue Raspberry" I am looking for. I need to test out sweeteners/other raspberries mixed in (see if it gets better), but I feel I should let you guys know it tastes pretty good even solo.

The MSDS has it listed, so you might wanna let it sit open for a little. There is nothing that bothers me about it, but we are all different.

Isn't blue raspberry just raspberry? As I recall, the company behind Otter pops colored it blue because red was already taken.

It is a different kind of raspberry. Hard to explain. Similar to raspberry for sure though.

I know the OSDIY Blue Raspberry tastes kind of like the blue slushie. What does the Silver Cloud's taste like?

I find OSDIYS to be a little bit bland. This tastes similar... Just more/better blue raspberry flavor. If that makes sense. This is my opinion obviously.

I was experimenting alot with blue razz flavoring. I picked up OSDIY blue slush flavoring, its pretty decent, i had to mix it at like 8-10% to get it to taste good or not bland. So with that said, I added TFA sweet raspberry, and a tiny bit of TFA key lime and of course some FA lemon sicily. The lemon/lime gives it a nice boost in flavor and adds some sour too it, but its very subtle. Its really makes the blue slush pop IMO. The TFA Sweet raspberry gives it the extra sweetness it needs. Its basically my version of the Blue Raspberry ICEE. I can post the exact recipe if you want.

Blue Raspberry ICEE

OSDIY Blue Slush 8%
TFA Sweet Raspberry 3%
TFA Key Lime 1%
FA Lemon Sicily 1%
EM 1%

You can add a bit of Koolada for a "cold" mouth feel, but Im not a fan of it. Please let me know what you think I would love input

I've tried like 6 different times for that flavor and it's never in stock for me. I ordered some of silver cloud's last night and ima try this recipe with that stuff.

How strong was 10%? I'm thinking of picking up some more silvercloud and mixing a recipe at

8% Silvercloud imitation blue raspberry
1% INW Raspberry
1.5% FA Fresh Cream
1% CAP Cool Mint
1% TFA Koolada
