I just got a new shipment of flavors, and mixed up my long-awaited cereal recipe I've been dying to try. It has fruit circles in it, and I know there are varying opinions ... so I was expecting something intense, possibly unpleasant after first shake, but I wanted to check the unsteeped recipe anyway, and monitor it over time.
It blew off my doors. It was so harsh, that I was rethinking my ability to diy all together. I almost fell out of my chair. Something had to be wrong here. I rechecked the recipe, I rechecked the bottles (I keep them in order as I use them, just to make sure they were right.) I verified the checkmarks I make as I measure, I did everything exactly right! Disgusted, I went to bed.
This morning, during cleanup, I noticed the super harsh 48mg nic that I don't use from an old vendor and meant to throw away was out ... and my pure VG bottle wasn't. Glad it was only a 10ml batch.
TL;DR: Don't vape 48mg nic with fruit circles in it. You have been warned.
I'm a bot, bleep, bloop. Someone has linked to this thread from another place on reddit:

Wait, I've been wanting to mix up looper, which has fruit circles by tpa. Is it bad at all?
