I cringe at the overuse of the word "premium" in this market.
Agreed. But aside from that, I like the layout/design of the label very much. I'm really digging the fact that people are moving away from gaudy, cartoony labels.
I like it. Simple and straight forward which is a stand out in my book.
Very clean and simplistic...I like it! One thing you might want to consider is putting a flavor description on the bottle. I know not everyone cares if it is there (and some of your flavors names are self explanatory but when I buy juice I tend to buy 15mls of 4-5 different flavors at a time, so I can really get a feel for a company. And after it arrives and is steeped 1-2 months go by ... and ...... I never remember what "Obama Your Llama, Osama" is supposed to taste like. Sure, I could look it up online but its a convenience thing and customers like convenience!
You mark a good point here, I'll have to find a way to get the info in there, the ECTA requires alot of infomation to be put on the bottle so I'll have to figure this one out.
I thought about putting a QR code, but this trend is way past it's time now.
i like it Alot!!! very simplistic
They look great but I would consider reducing the size of the white on black text. The big black boxes on either side detract from the minimalist style you are going for. Add more white space.
Good advice, also a born date is great. And ~60ml instead of +/-60ml if you are'nt gonna just say 60.
They have a birth date, batch number and expiration date. I have made them to meet the ECTA requirements, And they only allow 40% of the label to put your logo ans juice name,
Since my market is french and english speaking, each black panel has a different language.
Are those clear labels or white? I think clear would look much better fwiw.
Also be careful with the size. The new EU regulations that should be passing effective 1/1/2016 limit bottle size down to 10ml. Will want to make sure your label is scalable down to that size so you don't lose brand recognition when it happens.
These are clear labels. And I'm looking to sell in Canadian market only, I know, not the biggest, but If I can get this stuff out from west coast to east coast I'll be more than happy !
They look nice, clean. As others have stated, you'll want to put a flavor description on the bottles. But as you've stated, there's a lot of stuff that can't be taken off the label. Looking at all the white space, I suggest you find stock photos of the flavors these juices will be emulating, and put them as a watermark on your labels. This way, each flavor looks unique(which adds value for brand and flavor recognition) as well as adding a reliable flavor description. It would definitely be kind of a cool little easter egg for people who find they enjoy your juice.
Also, I can't tell from the picture, but I'd suggest using high-gloss labels, because they seem to stand up better to stray drops of ejuice than the paper labels.
Thanks for the input, These we made out of my own printer in order to have an Idea of what the final product would look like, I will have them printed overseas in pet material to get that glossy edge and waterproof.
Yeah, I believe Avery sells different styles of mailing labels, one of them being a high-gloss.
Nice and simplistic. Any thoughts of adding color to the labels to make em stand out from the rest of the juices on the rack? Would be cool to see variations if you have any.
The whole marketing behind it is minimalist vintage black and white. IMHO, i think the way the bottles look, it will intrigue many consumers.
Like Arsenault185 said, with all these cartoonish colored bottles on the shelves, my bottle will be much easier to spot than one of those where's Waldo bottles. :P
We're mainly focusing on local and web market. If there's demand for distribution, we'll take it on from there.
