So I mixed up a Lucky Charms recipe from /u/Zellgadiss on this sub. It tastes great but I felt like adding some FA Marshmallow would add something nice to it.
I don't want to make a new batch so would it be acceptable to add say, 4 drops (around 0.1g or .5%) to this finished juice (20mL total)?
Is that generally an acceptable method to tweak recipes without making new batches?
Yeah, I do that to a lot of my recipes, but be sure to annotate in your notes that you added something and how much you added.
Also, FA meringue is closer to the flavor of lucky charms marshmallows than FA marshmallow.
It's actually already in the recipe. I just thought Marshmallow would add a nice fluffy waxyness to it. Here is the recipe, again it's not mine, but critique it and let me know if anything can be added.
2% Bavarian Cream (TPA)
0.5% Coconut (FA)
1% Meringue (FA)
3% Vanilla Custard v1 (CAP)
2% Vanilla Swirl (TPA)
1% Vienna Cream (FA)
If coconut is added for creaminess, I'd replace it with .25% FLV coconut, it's much creamier. You could add some marshmallow if you're just looking to improve the mouthfeel.
That sounds really good! Let us know how the addition goes :)
I don't have meringue, any suggest? Or please can you define the intention of that one on the recipe to try out with my stash. Thank you.
