I was thinking that I should use some Banana Cream (LA) and Vanilla Custard v1 (Cap). Why? Because I have nearly 500 ml of it from the reddit group buy, which I've used way too little of. I also recently bought 240 ml Vanilla Custard v1 (Cap) from Chef's for a good price.
I thought of what to do. I decided that these two flavors should be the main pillars, and then I'd add a little cream and some bakery notes to it. This is what my first recipe take looked like:
Ingredient|ml|g|% :---|---:|---:|---: Nicotine juice 36 mg (50/50 PG/VG)|2.5|2.87|8.33 PG dilutant|4|4.15|13.33 VG dilutant|19.75|24.91|65.83 Banana Cream (LA)|1.2|1.2|4 Biscuit (INAWERA)|0.06|0.06|0.2 Cheesecake (Graham Crust) (TPA)|0.75|0.75|2.5 Cream Fresh (FA)|0.45|0.45|1.5 Vanilla Custard v1 (CAP)|1.29|1.29|4.3 Totals|30|35.68|100
Strength: 3mg/ml
PG/VG: 30/70
Flavor total: 3.75 ml (12.5%)

I tried to put a critical eye on it as I vaped it, adjusting percentages. After I vaped about 5 ml of it, I decided that the first take was so good, that I didn't need tweaking at all. Highly unusual for me :P
I am considering trying it with say ~0.4% Joy (FA) to see where that takes it. But I kinda think it's sweet enough as it is.
But this is a potential ADV for me - It's so delicious, that I'm afraid I'm not gonna have any left of this batch before the Vanilla Custard v1 (Cap) has a chance to really shine...
What is going on here? This is diy ejuice, right? I have all these flavors and don't have to order 5 more? No, get out of here with this daath!
Looks pretty good man. If I can remember, I'll give it a mix tonight.
Damn. Sorry to disappoint! :D hehe I hope you find it as tasty as I do, though :D
Soo.. this is really good. I'm in the same spot you are, don't know if this is going to last long enough for the vc to fully develop. I dripped a bit and then tossed some into my goblin mini.
Have you ever had platanos maduros before? The only thing that's missing from this tasting exactly like fried sweet plantains is a touch of caramel.
Thanks man, I've since made another 50ml, and I don't think this will last long enough for the VC to develop either :/ I might have to make a 120 ml batch while I still vape this 50 ml :D
I haven't had platanos maduros - but it sounds delicious, and so simple to make! (You are talking about the dish, right?) Perhaps some Caramel (FA) or Butterscotch (FA) (or even a combination)? I might try splitting this 50ml into a 10ml one and add 0.5% Caramel (FA)!
Mixing this up after work tonight. Been looking for a good banana vape. Thanks d00d!
If you still tune this recipe, consider .2-.5% INW Catcuts, after /u/nicobeak posted this, i made a mix similar to yours, and it definitely got improved.
Sounds delicious. I have all of these flavors except for biscuit... but it should come in the mail today! I am going to mix a batch up after work.
The biscuit is just there to nudge the other bakeries - it should be good without it - You can use Cookie (FA) instead - Inawera is weaker and sweeter though, but at this percentage, it shouldn't matter much.
Wow. That's actually really fucking good. I ended up doing a couple things with it, I'll let you know if any of them are better than the original. I have a feeling FLV cinnamon crunch is gonna work really well here.
How did the butterscotch addition turn out? @ /u/daath
Hmmm ok. This bottle has steeped a bit longer, so I think the Vanilla Custard is starting to show itself - the 0.3-0.4% butterscotch I added definitely changed it though. It's more earthy, richer - I like it! I should definitely try it with Caramel (FA) as well.
Now I really get what /u/Bonzoo meant with fried plantains!
I've vaped on it for a while now - I like the original a little better - but that's because of the earthy, almost perfumey note I get from the butterscotch - it might be better with caramel. I still like it though! :D
