[Recipe][Advice] Cereal Milk/Lucky Charms
submitted about 10 years ago by magus517707

I'm not a huge cereal juice fan but figured I would try my hand at it. This was my first recipe and it ended up turning out pretty well. Looking for any advice to make it better.

My issue right now is that there is a bit of throat hit and it is not as creamy as I would like it to be. It really comes into the flavor after a week steep.

Yum? | Percentage | --|-- Rice Crunchies (TFA)|1.00% Captain Cereal (TFA)|3.00% Acetyl Pyrazine 10%|0.20% Cookie (FA)|0.50% Meringue (FA)|1.00% Fresh Cream (FA)|1.00% Toasted Marshmallow (TFA)|1.00% Vienna Cream (FA)|1.00%

Amp up the creams to 2% and mix max vg, should reduce throat hit and make it a lot smoother in general.

^^ What I was going to say. You could try 1.5% each of Meringue and Cream Fresh first. They have the tendency to wash out the other flavors if you go too hard with them.

I wouldn't necessarily bump the meringue much. It makes things taste pasty but around 1.5% wouldn't really give that notion. Either way these things will help just don't go overboard as a higher % of smooth or creamy flavors don't necessarily mean a smoother or creamier vape.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am gonna try a mix with the creams @ 2%. If I need to up the meringue from there I will. But as for right now I feel like the sugary profile is where it needs to be.

Also I already mix at Max VG for almost every flavor I make.

TPA sells dairy milk flavoring (3-6% works nicely) that is fantastic and probably closer to what you are looking for. I would bet that you could substitute it for most of your cream like flavors and simplify your recipe, unless you want specific under tones. They also have a Lucky Charms flavor but I have no experience with it.

Thanks. I think I will be adding dairy milk and lucky charms to my next flavor order just to play around with them.

No problem, if you like fruit loops they have a good one as well...might as well pick it up too. I've been hooked on this recipe for nearly a month and can't get enough.

I'd say do a 2:1 ratio on vienna and fresh cream. Toast Mmllw may be giving that throat hit, sub it for some mmllw TFA or FA. I would even try lowering on the meringue cuz the powdery feel it brings may tone down the creamyness you're looking for...

I had a feeling it was the toasted mm that was causing the throat hit. I was trying to use it to cover the sweet mm flavor and a bit of the top notes for graininess at the same time with the toasted flavor. I will have to try a mix with regular mm and see how it affects it.
