I notices after about 5 minutes my syringe was showing wear on the measurements. If I put a piece of scotch tape on the side, or any see through tape, will my measurements still be accurate? I really don't want to have to keep ordering syringes this fast because I hardly got one use out of it. Anyone ever try this?
Try grabbing some clear nail polish and painting over the numbers and measurement lines. Give it some time to dry and you won't have any issues.
That's exactly what I was going to try when I got home. Just hoping before I tried anything like that it wouldn't affect the measurements. is meniscus the word I'm looking for?
The best way to prevent wear on syringes is to put them away and mix by weight.
I needed that fucking laugh, thanks. But seriously, probably the best option. I mixed with syringes when I started diy, but I was only doing nana cream and a single flavor from nude nicotine so it was super simple. After reading up on here enough and my own knowledge of how easy scales are I knew it was the superior option. Never looked back.
There shouldn't be any difference. Take some 3ml of pg/vg into syringe, get a small piece of tape and put it on, try to notice if anything visualy changes. Im pretty sure it wont, im going to try it myself, ordering new set every week is quite annoying. Thanks for the idea
I feel so dumb because at first I was thinking of just adding tape at the 10s and eyeballing the tenths once they were gone, and I thought well I won't be able to see through unless I use scotch tape. Then I thought what the hell, why not just tape over the markings so they don't wear out.
