I made this and it is absolutely stellar. Thanks for this. You win the month.
Yeeee! What do I win?
Some bronuts. Squeezed from the bronuts of /u/Enyawreklaw himself.
It has only steeped 4 days, but it is still amazing. I'm going to make a giant batch this weekend. I made a second version with your recipe, but changed the tfa strawberry to INW strawberry, and it is spectacular as well. Different, but good.
Thanks again yo.
Looks good! I bet for my own taste it would be better subbing fa cookie instead of inw biscuit. Im not a fan of biscuit for some reason! Thanks for the recipe!
Are they similar flavors? I've been enjoying FA Cookie, never tried INW Biscuit, though. I thought about adding it to my next order, though.
Can I sub CAP Sugar Cookie for FA Cookie perhaps?
Cookie is just Acetyl Pyrazine with some sweeteners.
Subbing more CAP sugar cookie will give you a different flavor profile but it'll still taste fine.
I'll have to try this, but don't have vanilla swirl or sugar cookie unfortunately. Maybe increasing biscuit up to 2.5 and throwing in 1% TFA French Vanilla Deluxe in their place wouldn't be so horrible?
Can I sub anything for the Cheesecake Graham Crust? Somehow I ran out thought I had another 30ml but it was graham cracker clear instead. Womp womp.
What similar flavors do you have?
How much steeping needed mate?
Maybe a few days. Still decent right after mixing.
Mixed this up a few hours ago, and it smells fantastic! Curious - your recipe on ELR is different then the one you have here. Which would you recommend?
Good catch haha. I'm seeing the Ripe is at 6% there and 4% here. I'm thinking I mixed mine at 6%. Sorry for the confusion on here. I don't know what happened there.

Recipe Notes:
First off, I wanted to apologize for not being around as much as I'd like recently, both as a contributor and as a moderator for this sub. Things have been beyond crazy at Cloudmaker, putting ~3000 units into production & Jeremy flying to China to oversee the final phase of manufacturing before deliveries can start later this month. But I miss you guys, and I've got some fantastic surprises for you guys! But first, the recipe notes.
This is the recipe I bought FA Joy to make: a legit apple fritter. Granted, it's had a long and tortured birth process, when Joy was not what I expected, but I adapted and reworked things, and after 2 complete-restarts & 7-8 versions, I've got something really close to amazing. Here's how it all comes together:
CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl's doughy pastry notes get drawn out to the forefront brilliantly by FA Joy & FA Almond together, and the TFA Bavarian Cream adds a moist, textured mouthfeel and decadence to it.
FA Fuji delivers perfectly on the Apple notes, as expected. I've considered several ways to enhance the apple component, including TFA/FA Apple Pie, Pear, and a touch of TFA Dragonfruit (components list). I ended up going with TFA Dragonfruit for two reasons.
One, it has a high % of triethyl citrate, which has emulsifying properties that are particularly useful in a mix like this, which has natural cinnamon flavors in it (ever notice how CAP Cinnamon Danish tends to separate in its bottle?). The second reason is basic Deeper DIY -- ethyl butyrate & isoamyl acetate, both found in TFA Dragonfruit, are complementary to FA Fuji, as both compounds are often used in apple and similar flavors themselves. Therefore, a touch of TFA Dragonfruit not only adds some extra juicy tartness to the apple filling flavor, it helps the cinnamon blend into the apple flavor, creating "Cinnamon Apples" instead of "Cinnamon + Apples", so to speak. FA MTS Vape Wizard can also help with this -- /u/Enyawreklaw once likened MTS to 'putting your ingredients in the blender' in his Boardwalk milkshake recipe on DIYorDIE, and I think that's fairly accurate.
Speaking of cinnamon, FLV Rich Cinnamon is unmatched by any other cinnamon flavors, and it really shines best in a bakery mix like this one. There's no substitute, so if you don't have it, get it -- but you can make this recipe without it. I feel that dropping it works better than trying to substitute FA Cinnamon Ceylon, which is painfully lackluster beside the FLV. My only regret? I can't use more Rich Cinnamon without overwhelming the balance of the recipe...
Modifications & Tweaks:
-
No FLV Rich Cinnamon? Increase CAP CDS by 1-2% and leave it out, or substitute FA Cinnamon Ceylon at same %.
-
Want even more doughy pastry? Add 1% FA Apple Pie or 2-3% TFA Apple Pie.
-
Too complex? TFA Dragonfruit & FA Almond are highly-recommended but not strictly required.
-
Swap CAP Cinnamon Danish for TFA Cinnamon Danish or FW Cinnamon Roll to get a different character of cinnamon-pastry.
-
Diketone-free version: This will clear the recipe of any unwanted baddies, but I haven't mixed it myself, so I can't promise it will be equally delicious, but it should still be good.
-
Swap CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl for CDS V2, same %.
-
Swap TFA Bavarian Cream for new CAP Bavarian Cream (no A/P or DA) or TFA's Bavarian Cream DX, same %.
If you do mix it up, with or without variations, please let us know! I hope you all enjoy this recipe as much as I enjoy this community.
I've been compiling a bunch of my best recipes to post on DIYorDIE, most of which aren't on my ELR account, along with a series of articles about Deeper DIY topics & some other cool stuff I've put together over the years. I promised to do this a while back when /u/Enyawreklaw and I started our DIY project together, but I've been lagging, and meanwhile this sub is becoming /r/Bronuts without me... Clearly Wayne can handle himself just fine, which is why I chose him as a mixing partner in the first place, but I'm not gonna let some NJ punk who goes by "YungLungz" outmix me!
I have been liking your recipes, on point. I could not get the top of Ny, the flavor was just wrong, not sure why.
Top of New York is Wayne's recipe, just FYI, not mine -- mine will be posted there separately soon, with my own tag. If you want a Banana Pancakes mix from me, try this one my friend Jon is developing:
-
CAP Waffle - 7.00%
-
Graham Cracker (CAP) - 0.50%
-
Meringue (FA) - 0.75%
-
Cinnamon Danish (CAP) - 0.50%
-
Bananas Foster (TFA) - 1.00%
-
New York Cheesecake (CAP) - 0.75%
-
FA Maple Syrup - 0.25%
It's really good already, even though it's not finalized yet, and I think it tastes a lot more like that flavor profile than Top of NY. If you'd like it to be more pancakes than waffles, swap the CAP Waffle for either TFA Belgian Waffle at 8% (sweeter & more maple) or TFA Waffle - 10% (lighter & more butter), and swap the TFA Bananas Foster for TFA Banana Nut Bread at 1.5-2%. Alternatively, you can also leave the recipe unaltered and simply adjust the % of Bananas Foster if you want to change the amount of bananas.
Blueberry Muffin

Flavors are done finding their place in the world after a day or two and they only get better after that.
Have you tried Flavorah's blueberry muffin? I make a recipe similar to yours but it has some blueberry muffin in it. Also, some acetyl pyrazine will give it the bready feel it needs.
I've been trying to keep things simple and save really specific flavors for a later date. I might check it out though. Aside from a better muffin what does it go well with?
Try this if you got the flavors A1 Muffin
Blueberry FLV 2.5%
Bluemuffin FLV 2%
NYcheesecake CAP 2%
Cereal Crunch FLV 1%

Don't have any of those aside from the Cheesecake and the Cookie. Do you think it'd be worth working Cookie into my own recipe? Maybe cutting Berry Crunch a little to get it in there?

Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (TFA) 2%

Shake and Vape is fine - the blueberry tones down a little after a day steep and then blends with the natural lemon flavor in FA's custard.
Warning : It's a coil killer... but so smooth and delicious.
This turned out very nice. I've not had much luck with blueberry before but your blueberry extra/bilberry combo hit the spot.
I am a placid lover and I have tried a lot of clones out there, so many version of placid. I feel this is very close, and though I realize that Adirondack stated they used 4 different vendors in the recipe i feel this is pretty close without going there. I have some other flavors coming from other vendors to try and get close and I will continue to update the clone as it moves on but this is where it is at right now.

Is there anything that would be a close sub for Honeysuckle? Maybe Honeydew? I have everything else.
I've tried a number of placid clones, and decided to give this a shot, but made a couple changes. I subbed Lime (INW) @ 0.5% for the Key Lime, and Pear (INW) @ 2% for Pear (TFA). I have both of those flavors, but wanted to try something different. I also omitted the Sweetener, since I don't like using those in general. The result is pretty lime heavy, but it's a really great hardcandy-like flavor.
I'm fairly certain that they use a lot more honeysuckle than this recipe (I'd be willing to bet it's anywhere from 6-8%), and then there's the mystery flavor which I think imparts that deep yellow coloring after steeping. It's got a slightly buttery flavor too.
Thanks for sharing this recipe!
I have thought about that mystery flavor and I think it might be a tiny amount of hazelnut, not enough to taste but just enough to add that little bitterness. Thoughts?
Not a bad idea! I'd say it's worth a shot. The yellow color of placid is almost the same as LA's Banana Cream (not colorless) - although I don't think it's that. They've mentioned that they have access to flavors that normal consumers don't - so I wouldn't be surprised if it was something we can't source easily.
Have you tried messing with other flavor company's takes on fruits? Like INW Pear, INW Lime, FLV Lime, FLV Strawberry, any of the INW Strawberry (Wild or regular), etc.?
I'm just curious. Having never tasted the real Placid, I can't really get a proper reference point, but I do enjoy the one I made with TFA ingredients a while back.
I haven't yet but I may try some INW lime and or FLV because I have some. I have been making some new recipes lately things like milfs milk and svbicc etc. I need some placid though so I may try a new version soon.
I've never had placid, but I gotta say this is delicious! Thanks for the recipe, probably gonna have to order some from Adirondack to compare these :)
Cool, let me know of any flavor adjustments you think might work. I'm always curious due to flavor being so subjective. I am going to try some more honeysuckle next time.
I've had this honey suckle for a year now and didn't know what to do with it. Thank you! This stuff is great! I'm sure i'll be buying more honey suckle now. I didnt have the INW lime so i used a few drops of lemon FA. I also subbed FA cookie for FA Cookie. Top notch man.
Here's another strange one for the brave.
Just gonna break this one up into its flavor groups, its all one recipe.
Fruitzone
- 3% - TFA Dragonfruit - All the rage! More triethyl citrate!
- 2% - TFA Watermelon - You probably have better watermelons, use them.
- 1% - TFA Jackfruit - Excellent accent to many a fruit/cream mix
- 0.5% - TFA Raspberry - You probably have better raspberries, use them.
Creamtown
- 3% - TFA Vanilla Bean Gelato - DX version of Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.
- 1% - TFA Banana Cream DX - I swears you won't even taste the banana.
I Will Add Horehound To Anything
- 4% - TFA Horehound - Add some menthol, add some depth, tell no one
Shake and vape your little hearts out!
Mmmm this sounds good. I don't quite have all the components but I'm going to give it a try with substitutions. I'll be using vanilla bean ice cream and banana cream because I'm not cool enough to have the dx versions, so should I up the amounts by like a percent maybe? Also no jackfruit or raspberry but I've been adding flv boysenberry to like, everything I've been making and it works out great. No horehound either but I don't like menthol anyway.
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream is a solid flavor for sure. Play around with the percentages as you like; Let me know how your mix turns out!

This flavor is super rich and mostly for the tobacco lovers but I even love this and I usually can't stand things like almonds and oak flavorings.
Great for after desert and a decent ADV if your into this sort of profile.
How did you go about coming up with an idea like this? Looks too good to pass up, thanks for the recipe
I found a recipe for a toasted oak ice cream after going on a 'i need a super fancy flavor' venture and added a few things I thought would mesh well (coconut and almonds).
Here is a link to the recipe that gave me the idea.
http://localmilkblog.com/2012/09/toasted-oak-ice-cream-with-smoked-sea-salt-lapsang-souchong-caramel-swirl.html
This looks like a masterwork, truly inspired. I've been working on a similar recipe concept, a sort of oak-aged complex nutty toasted vanilla cream, but I'm not quite there yet... This might be just what I need to fill in the gaps. I know asking this question about a recipe like this is nearly sacrilegious, but I don't have TFA Red Oak -- is it similar to FA Oakwood, which is what I use for my oak-aged woody notes? How long on the steep?
First off...you are too kind.
Second to answer your FA questions...I got no idea =/
My best guess is that FA oakwood is more of a tobacco flavor as opposed to Red Oak being a sweet earthy wood flavor. I think either would be great in this recipe as both seem to have the profile to fill that slot.
The steep on this is definitely long. I always shake and vape and immediately take notes and this recipe took about 3-4 days before it tasted like it was full and complete.
I decided to mix up a version of this after I commented on it before, but I didn't want to copy you so I made some tweaks to the mix. I doubt you have all the flavors, but I'd love to hear some feedback if anyone does:

Originally I was going for something based off DX Banana Cream that would be light, fresh, and uncomplicated. No loud flavors, sweetness, syrupyness, or generally anything that is tiring on the palate. I posted my first iteration here but have been tweaking it for a while. Basically this is still true to the previous goals, but definitely has a more pronounced flavor than the original. I'm not claiming it's done, but I'm perfectly happy where it is right now. As for the changes:
- TFA Philippine Mango is freaking awesome standalone and works just as well in the background. Pear is an awesome compliment to banana, but I find it makes things taste 'syrupy' quickly. Less is definitely more. As for Philippine Mango, I've tried it up to 6% in this recipe and it still tastes amazing (but not what I'm going for). If you haven't tried this flavor at all, it's basically a mango (cf. tfa mango) but with a lot of the sweetness replaced by earthiness. TFA Pear itself is know for being 'savory,' so I think they actually work well together.
- Ripe Banana is the newest addition here. It detracts from my original goals, but is kind of nice as it adds a faint 'focal point' to the flavors. I sometimes add it and don't. Honestly it doesn't make a huge difference, and Ripe Banana is kind of annoying to work with, so I might phase this out.
- Coconut Extra is great for adding some depth to the creaminess, but adding any more than 1% and it starts to come to the front too much. I honestly dropped it down to .5% from 1% because I thought I could get away with it. It still does its job.
- As for Koolada, do whatever. I like it because it definitely adds some freshness and coolness, but too much (I've tried as high as 2%) and it starts biting back. Might be your thing.
Anyway, I don't really like tropical flavors that much (or rather, they get old fast), but this doesn't offend me like that. This has been my go-to for about 2 months now (>100mL for sure) and it still holds up. If you mix it, lemme know what you think!
I made this when I was trying to clone Orphan Tears for someone. I've never had Orphan Tears, but this tastes fantastic after a month steep. Strawberry kiwi cream, with a delicious twist that makes it just complex enough to not be a simple flavor.

This started as a Sugar bear clone attempt based on a recipe I found here. I ended up going in a different direction with it. Went through 5 or 6 variations before I landed here. Its not bad as a shake and vape but gets better after a week or so, and super yummy after 2 or 3. The ginger is very present with no steep but blends in nicely with age. You could go a bit higher with it for a more pronounced ginger after steep. This is my go-to after dinner vape. Reminiscent of gingerbread cookies. Enjoy.
I'm also working on a sugar bear clone. On mobile right now, so don't remember the exact %'s I'm at now (I'll post when I get home). Did you end up landing something good for it?

Takes a week or so for the blueberry to settle down. After, it is a perfect blueberry cobbler with a side of ice cream. Most of the inspiration for this recipe came from /u/Enyawreklaw's SVBICC Remix. I tweaked the base just a bit and replaced the strawberry with blueberry. I can't seem to get enough of this stuff lately.
This looks rad. Will have to work out the ratio subbing Bloob Extra for either FA Bilberry or INW Blueberry.
I actually just got INW Blueberry in this week. I wanted to try it in this recipe and hopefully reduce total flavor percentage a bit.
Going to mix this tonight using the below, hit me up for my thoughts if I forget to post back!
INW Blueberry: Average mixing quantity: 3.3% (Median: 2%)
It was nice in my Blueberry Yogurt I mixed a couple of days ago, but the yogurt was a bit too greek. Just got CAP Creamy Yogurt which I'm hoping will balance it out.
I've been subbing INA fruits in other recipes by using this formula: TFA Fruit @3% sub INA Fruit @ .5% & FA Fruit @1.5% sub INA @ .5% It hasn't worked perfect with everything I've tried but it's been pretty close and has given me a good starting point. The INA Shisha fruits are a bit weaker so I accommodate for that.
Going to try this tonight with INA Blueberry and I think INA Raspberry for the Bilberry.
Thanks for posting it, I love Cobbler with any fruit. I bet peach would work well in this also. Speaking of, I have INA Spicy Biscuit on my next order as I've read it makes a great cobbler base.
Yum, I bet Spicy Biscuit would be good. I really want to try this with Inawera Blueberry but haven't had a chance to yet. I ended up making 250ml of this recipe and wanted to wait until most of that is gone before mixing more.
I hope you enjoy the recipe. I'd love to hear any suggestions you have for it.

Any chance la banana cream could work here?
Possible. I've only used TFAs, and I didn't use it in this recipe because the banana is muted. Even with the 3% FA Banana the CAP CDS overpowers it, which is why I said 2-3%. 2 for more banana, 3 for more cinnamon. I'm still working on it, because at 2% the banana still isn't where I want it and the cinnamon isn't coming through. I've considered FLV Rich Cinnamon but it's damn expensive.

-
50% - FA Black Cherry - commonly referred to as a “good flavor”
-
30% - TFA Black Currant - Adds some of that currant-tannic bite, also triacetin is your friend

- 3% - FA Grapefruit - Well this sounds good enough too
- 1% - TFA Horehound - I can’t help myself, please take the Horehound from me
- 0.75% - FA Cardamon - Pop dat citrus no
- 0.5% - TFA Earl Grey Tea - Secret Weapon TM
Already you can see we’ll be pushing it with more than 20% flavoring. Let's look at the concentrate volumes:

- 3mL - TFA Black Currant
- 2mL - TFA Natural Cherry Extract
Citrus Backbone, ~10ml
- 4.2 mL - FA Tahity Lime Distilled
- 2.1 mL - FA Mandarin Orange
- 2.1 mL - FA Grapefruit
- 0.7 mL - TFA Horehound
- 0.5 mL - FA Cardamon
- 0.45 mL - TFA Earl Grey Tea
Back in the Lab:
> "Dude, just give me Ultima-Lime, too much lime"
> "Ok fine I'll add more lime, 0.5% FA Lime Tahity Coldpress.
#Baller's Mélange
- 15% Citrus Backbone
- 5% Cherry Mix
- 0.5% FA Lime Tahity Coldpress.
If you're not some type of crazed lime fiend I would suggest 9-12% Citrus Backbone or if you want a more berry-forward vape bump up the Cherry Mix.
Tasting notes:
Pretty damn full-flavored, yet sufficiently complex for an ADV and surprisingly not too overpowering. Obviously harsher on shake’n’vape thanks to the massive lime dose.
After a couple weeks the citrus notes were still prominent and nice fade from lime/orange->complex black fruits -> light cooling. Earl Grey appears from time to time, that sneaky bastard....
Copy/paste from my solo topic:
I was thinking that I should use some Banana Cream (LA) and Vanilla Custard v1 (Cap). Why? Because I have nearly 500 ml of it from the reddit group buy, which I've used way too little of. I also recently bought 240 ml Vanilla Custard v1 (Cap) from Chef's for a good price.
I thought of what to do. I decided that these two flavors should be the main pillars, and then I'd add a little cream and some bakery notes to it. This is what my first recipe take looked like:

I tried to put a critical eye on it as I vaped it, adjusting percentages. After I vaped about 5 ml of it, I decided that the first take was so good, that I didn't need tweaking at all. Highly unusual for me :P
I am considering trying it with say ~0.4% Joy (FA) to see where that takes it. But I kinda think it's sweet enough as it is.
But this is a potential ADV for me - It's so delicious, that I'm afraid I'm not gonna have any left of this batch before the Vanilla Custard v1 (Cap) has a chance to really shine...
Is the banana flavor at the forefront or more of an accent? I was going to make this as well as a bottle that includes some ripe banana. But if its already really banana-y then i wont bother.
It's not overwhelmingly banana-y, but banana is one of the main flavors. /u/Bonzoo mentioned it tasted like planatos maduros (fried plantains), though it needed some caramel...
I made some of this the other day and my significant oher really likes it. I think he'll vape it as much as the mother's milkish clone he's been ADVing for the last 3 weeks. I had to use a sweet cream (pretty sure TFA) since I didn't have cream fresh. Tasted like banana nut bread. Very tasty.
Can't wait to try this in the morning! Looks great. Thank you have you tried flv Custard in this?
Nope, unfortunately I don't have Flavorah, but I am sure it would be great! Possibly with a lower percentage, since Flavorah's is stronger. Try something like 1.5-2% :)
I've been trying this out for a few days now and I'm really starting to like it. It really tastes like a banana pudding (with nilla wafers). Good idea to use LA Banana Cream and INW Biscuit together.
Thanks :) I like it a lot myself, I've been through 160 ml of it already, have another 100 ml steeping...
In the original recipe thread someone mentioned that it tasted like platanos maduros (fried plantains) if it only had a bit more caramel - but as it steeps I agree with you; banana pudding with vanilla wafers :D
I've now finished a 30ml bottle of this stuff, pretty good. Every couple days I'd fill my atlantis with it, to see how it was aging. Didnt take notes... about two weeks in I was out of bronuts and a couple other flavors I've been vaping lately, and this stuff then went quick.
Im thinking a very small amount of another banana could really top this mix off. Ty for the recipe. I'll definitely mix it again.
You're very welcome! I agree; if you like banana, it could benefit from another banana flavor, especially as it ages and the custard starts to come through!
this kind of reminded me of fresh lenola cream when i was vaping it yesterday... minus the nutty/pyrazine aspect and the extra strawberry. might be worth looking into since steeped lenola reminds me of straight popcorn
Posting my first recipe on this subreddit. Please let me know what you think. I will be eagerly awaiting your review.
Tfa cranberry 6%
Tfa marshmallow 4%
Cap grapefruit 6%
Cap marshmallow 4%
Thanks for looking.
Oh man, I've never thought about a cranberry vape. This sounds awesome! I gotta rustle up some cranberry and grapefruit.
Cranberry would go very well with cinnamon, too. Like Christmas! /u/vapor_trails_nw makes one called Phoenix Down that's AMAZING (although I feel like there might be koolada in it...or it hasn't aged enough. It's not the same as the last time I had it, though).
You might want less cap on this recipe, I don't have the ingredients to mix it up though. I guess I have never tried caps grapefruit or marshmallow, so I might be full of shit. What notes predominantly come out in this? The cranberry and grapefruit with a soft marshmallow cushion?
I would name it Pillowed Grape Crayons, it has a nice ring to it.
This recipe actually took me longer than I'd like to admit. I wanted the lime to be the star, but it might be too much for you. Quite diketastic, vape at your own risk.
1% FLV lime(you might go down as far as .7%, very fucking strong lime)
1% TFA strawberry ripe
.8% FLV coconut
.8% FLV sweet coconut (you can use a little more regular coconut instead, it only slightly changes the flavor, but is LOADED DOWN with diketones)
4% TFA vanilla bean ice cream.
Best after a day wait, but it's good after just a 10 minute warm water bath. Don't make more than a 30ml, the lime flavor degrades pretty quick.
This is my everyday ADV.
> .8% FLV sweet coconut (you can use a little more regular coconut instead, it only slightly changes the flavor, but is LOADED DOWN with diketones)
Not quite -- FLV Coconut, Strawberry, Coffee, and Cantaloupe contain 'trace levels of naturally-occurring diacetyl', but no FLV flavors have any added diacetyl or acetyl propionyl, and no FLV flavors contain any A/P. While no diacetyl is good, trace levels that naturally occur are most likely much lower than the massive doses of A/P added to many vape flavorings, and far less likely to be harmful. I'm talking to /u/flavorah about getting GC/MS tests for DA done on the 4 flavors that contain it, so we can be precise about our exposure levels, but it's high on my list of concerns as far as DA/AP in flavorings I use goes.
Also, just to note: FLV's Creme de Menthe, Blueberry Muffin, Peach, Vanilla Custard, Raspberry, Cream, Strawberry, Caramel & Butterscotch flavors contain traces of Acetoin, the concentrated form of which may contain traces of catalyzed diacetyl that can appear in the final flavoring (though mostly at sub-threshold, undetectable levels).

Can you taste the cucumber / does it change it that much?
It's not critical, but I like the freshness it imparts in the mix. You probably wouldn't pick it out as cucumber in the mix tasting it blind, but if you know it's there you can probably recognize it.
No name as it's my first recipe.

Hey guys. So for the first time i want to share something in here. Back in the day when i had no idea about doing good DIY i comed out with something like this:
- Jamaican Rum (TPA/FW) @ 8%
- Blueberry Extra (TPA) @ 8%
It was nice, but missing a lot, so i've decided to tweak it a bit:
Sweet Blueberry Rum
- Jamaican Rum (TPA/FW) @ 5%
- Blueberry /extra (TPA) @ 6%
- Blueberry Wild (TPA) @ 3%
- Koolada 10% (TPA/FW) @ 1% (to give it a "fresh" alcohol taste)
If someone has stuff and want to make it, let me know how it is. This should be a good shake'n'vape.
I have all this stuff so decided to mix it up.
Disclaimer: Rum isn't really my thing anymore. My very first ADV (a year ago) was something by MBV that was basically rum + menthol. I loved it, but they discontinued it and I sort of moved on from both of the flavors in time. I added some TFA Jamaican Rum to my cart when I first started DIY on a whim but never really messed around with it.
Anyway, I'm on a mech, double coils @ .5Ω. Shake 'n vape. Very first reaction is that it tastes sort of... bitey. I feel that's probably important to have for a rum flavor, and the koolada probably helps (1% is definitely a reasonable percentage). Haven't tried TFA Jamaican Rum on its own enough to know what it contributes. Okay, after that, I do notice a bit of the 'butteriness' of the rum come through, and it's good. I bet that definitely improves after some time. As for the blueberries, it tastes a little muted to me right now. To be honest, I've always kind of gotten that from Blueberry Extra. I love Blueberry Wild and think that definitely imparts a clear, clean blueberry at ~5%, and have seen a lot of advice to mix them together to get a more rounded blueberry flavor. But I'm still working on the ratio myself. Anyway, since the rum "bite" is going on so much, I might suggest bumping up the Blueberry Wild a bit more to bring that flavor to the front more. Interesting recipe though. By the way, do you use FW or TFA for your rum? It's an interesting flavor, I might try to give a whirl again one of these days.
Good luck, and thanks for the recipe :)
Neat, thanks!
On my first recipe i've used TFA one, but i am not able to get it anywhere in stock, looks like noone orders it anymore in my country. I have heard some good things about INW Jamaican rum, maybe this would be a good replacement, ill try to get one someday. Blueberry extra doesnt have an actual taste of blueberry, it's just a nice and somehow sweet flavor, i use it in a lot of my recipes as an sweetner. It's quite hard to get a good, real blueberry taste, but bumping out BB wild could help here a bit.
- Rum - 4%
- BB/ extra - 5%
- BB Wild - 6%
- Koolada 10% - 1%
Should be better, im pretty sure it will get better with few days of steeping too, thanks for helping out!
In homage to my visit to hawaii sitting on the beach sipping these things, It was cucumber vodka, lychee flavoring and ginger ale. Freakin' delicious but expensive. So I present my in the works recipe of the:
Lychee Cucumber Fizz Beverage
- Lcyhee (FA) 5%
- Cucumber (Cap) 2%
- Champagne (FA) 1%
Mazz (A Tribute to Mazatlan by Coval)
- 2% Desert Ship (FA)
- 2% Cured Tobacco (FLV)
- 2% Banana (FA)
- 0.5% Horchata (TFA)
- 0.5% Vanilla Bourbon (FA)
I literally have 0 of these flavors.
Desert Ship and Cured Tobacco are both great if you like tobacco flavors. Banana (FA) is a somewhat more realistic banana flavor (compared to most others). Horchata is a cinnamon red hots flavor with a subtle cream to it - I wouldn't recommend it if you want a real horchata flavor (try TFA Horchata Smooth or CAP Horchata for that). Vanilla Bourbon is an excellent accent flavor, IMO.
Hey guys! A while back I saw the Night Shift clone on ELR , I love coffee vapes, I love donut vapes, what could be better than a coffee donut?
Any who, set out to make a new version. I've never had the original night shift, so this isn't a clone of it. Just a good rendition of the flavors.

This is a recipe for a Hawaiian dessert I discovered on one of my girlfriend's healthy-food, Pinterest boards. It's called Guri-Guri and it's described as a scoop of Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and a Strawberry/Lemon-Lime slushy, blended together.
After a comment by /u/daath I revised my original recipe, omitting the FA Catalan Cream, and substituting it for FA Vienna Cream. I also tweaked the fruits slightly as you can see below.

I've actually found I enjoy it more when I swap 2% TFA Pineapple for the Blue Raspberry, it gives it a White Gummy Bear spin.
Comments welcomed. :)
I've been wanting to try and mix something tropical all summer but only got to it now. Grabbed one of my countless post-its with draft recipes and gave it a go. Still needs work so I'm just posting for reference in case someone needs a starting point with these flavors.
Tropical mix #1
0.5% Pineapple (FA)
1% Mango (INW)
1% Papaya (FA)
1% Coconut (FA)
1.5% Pomegranate (FA)
Good stuff freshly mixed, nothing too interesting unfortunately but these mix together well. I can distinguish the brightness and bite from the pineapple and taste the papaya. It's a sweet and smooth tropical mix but I want something red to be clearly distinguishable in there and 1.5% Pomegranate is not cutting it, probably needs to be upped to 2.5% or maybe supported by some kind of strawberry.
I make something fairly similar, I use different flavor companies though. Idk why, but i really like the tropical fruit/pomegranate combo. In mine the pomegranate added a nice sour note to the sweetness of the pineapple and guava and peach, I went high on the pomegranate to balance out with the sweetness of the other flavors.
Golden Granite
2.5% Golden Pineapple (CAP)
2.5% Juicy Peach (TPA)
2.5% Guava (CAP)
5% Pomegranate (CAP)
Was asked by a human female to make a Lost Coast Classic clone. She only left me with the scent of the bottle so I might not have gotten as close as I could've. I dont even like fruity juices but I did enjoy this one--kinda hard candyish...anyways...

Well folks given that i've been mixing for a while, some successfully, some not so much :D but that's the way it goes... Anyways, got some extra TFA flavors to play with the other day and tried with this one... after about 4 hrs of breathing & 2 days of steeping it tastes (at least to me) really good, and i might use it for a while as an all day vape. Given that it has creams in it etc, all the flavors haven't really set in and its definitely gonna be a lot better in 10 days or so, but you know what they say, if you like it after a day or two, you'll probably love it after 2 weeks :D
anyways.... Fruity cream
- 5% TFA Banana Cream
- 3% TFA Bavarian Cream
- 2.25% TFA Vanilla Swirl
- 1.75% TFA Raspberry (sweet)
I found that even at this percentage raspberry somewhat dominates the flavor, but not in a really overpowering way, if you wanna play with it you can try bumping up the banana cream a bit more and lowering the raspberry to 1.25% or so. I personally enjoy it like this ;)
Bout time I contribute, since I found 3 adv on this here sub...
My version of a Pink Lemonade
- Pink Lemonde (FW) 1.5%

- Lime (INW) 0.5%
- Raspberry (INW) 0.5%
- Sweet Cream (TFA) 1%
- Brown Sugar (TFA) 0.3%
Recipe Notes
Basically I combined some great flavorants that would work for a pink lemonade, after fiddling with others. I mix this at 65VG.
Pink Lemonade from Flavourwest is a great base, but I really don't like it in high percentages - I find it too much of an attack on the taste buds. So I kept tweaking the percentage to get it as low as I could for a solid base.
Strawberry Ripe I used it here just to flesh out the recipe really, and round the sharper flavors.
INW the stars here. Two of the nicest flavors from INW. And I find them together to be wonderful, but sharp (hence the Strawberry Ripe and Sweet Cream.
Sweet Cream Just a touch to smoothen the mix. It is still plenty tangy, so if you want it a little more gentle, increase the Sweet Cream and add a bit more sweetness.
Brown Sugar My favourite sweet source when I make real lemonade, so an obvious choice for a sweetener. Like I said though, this recipe is still tangy, so if you want it sweeter, then maybe up this bit, or use a more sweet flavorant.
Its a simple recipe, but a tasty easy going one. I'm sure the seasoned vets here could take it to the next level.
Looks rad! Gonna make sure I have what I'm missing for this on my next order. On my phone, but I think INW have 'lime' and 'lime -cold pressed' yeah? This is the straight lime?
Would have never thought of brown sugar in lemonade, I'll probably throw in some FLV pink grapefruit for more bite but the brown sugar really intrigues me.
Thanks!

A tropical Mimosa drink, something new & delicious I've been working on recently with one of the awesome collaborators in my new 'Mixtapes' juice line pilot project to test out some concepts that'll underpin my planned craft e-juice community marketplace.

-
TFA Koolada* - 0.25%
-
TFA Sweetener* (Sucralose) - 0.25% (0.5% of EM / Marshmallow works too, I'm sure)
*(Asterisks indicate optional/accent flavors added/adjusted for the new v1.1, as opposed to the 'core' central ingredients the define the juice's profile -- this mix won't be the same without them, but you can sub for them or drop them and stilll get something good)
Blending these citrus flavors in this ratio results in a surprisingly accurate rendition of orange juice, particularly if you include the Mango flavor, (especially since I hit on this blend on my very first try!), the Orange Cream/Coconut elements give the orange flavors just enough creaminess to supply it the body & texture an OJ mix needs without adding a perceptible creamsicle taste. The OJ combines beautifully with the champagne's effervescent, bubbly bite, and this unique experience is vastly enhanced by the secondary notes of mango, coconut, & other tropical citrus fruits. Quince also provides a bit of temperature-shifting flavor, along with it's sharper, unique citrus notes, and a touch of Koolada makes the bubbles more pronounced and gives this drink a refreshing deliciousness!
Would really appreciate feedback, even if you made some substitutions (or leave out all the extra tropical accents). I'm still dialing in those accents & finding the perfect balance for this mix with its co-creator, but this new v1.1 revision needs to steep for at least a week or so before I'm sure it's as good as it seems to be right now. Try it out and let me know?
My easy peasy all day vape:
- 3% P. Guava FLV
- 1% T. Punch FLV
- 1% Ethy Maltol .3 Nic
So easy but so good.
This sounds like a good one, will have to mix it up tonight. Have you played with any koolada or menthol with it?
Been working on this one for a long time;
Monkey's Crave
5% TFA banana nut bread
2% TFA graham cracker clear
1% LA banana cream
1% FA hazelnut
1% TFA vanilla bean ice cream
1% FW yellow cake
0,5% AP
0,5% TFA banana ripe
Let it steep for a minimum of 2 weeks for the nutty flavor to settle. Please leave feedback if you try it! Hope you enjoy!
Sounds pretty neat. How does it do as a Shake and Vape? I have a hard time letting my juice steep lol. I'm pretty sure I have all of these, so when I get time I'll probably give this a go.
IMO, it needs at least 1 week, but I recommend 2 weeks. The FA hazelnut tends to be overwhelming on the exhale before that. TFA vanilla bean ice cream also gets better after 2 weeks.
But if you really dont wanna wait go ahead and try it and let us know what you think.
My new all day vape as summer comes to a close:
Baja Blast
Citrus Punch TFA - 10%
Blueberry Wild TFA - 4%
Forest Fruit FA - 3%
Lime Tahiti Distilled FA - 2%
The real star here is Citrus Punch; I picked it up looking for a Mountain Dew (easy just 10% CP with 2 drops Kaktus and Golden Pineapple per 30ml) and loved the flavor. The Lime Tahiti distilled accentuates the CP against the blueberry and forest fruit to keep it from becoming too berry. Now the bajaness, I knew I wanted some blueberry in there and wild seemed like the tamest option that wouldn't impart it's own flavor but rather meld into the mix. The real key though is Forest Fruit, one whiff of this confirmed for me that it was important to the Baja. I go back and forth between 3% & 4% on the FF so feel free to add a bit more.
Lastly it's a high flavor percentage, but Citrus Punch and Blueberry Wild are both pretty weak flavors in my experience so IMO it doesn't suffer from over flavoring.
Orange Cake
- Blood Orange (FW) 4%
- Yellow Cake (FW) 3%
- Cake Batter (CAP) 2%
- Bavarian Cream (TFA) 2%
- Meringue (FA) 1.5%

The Blood Orange and Cake Batter in this really made it taste like Queenside to me for a while. As it steeps, the Cake Batter mellows down and it starts to take on an actual cake flavor. I've got FA Marshmallow on the way to experiment with more of an icing flavor. This definitely isn't done, but I can imagine it won't be for a long time.
My girlfriend helped me with this one, she basically went through all the flavors via smelling and told me to mix these. Ended up being pretty delicious although I added the cactus to get that fruit o poppin'. Behold "Girlfriend Mix V1"
- 5% Apricot (TFA)

Looks really good. Stone fruit and cream works very well together. She's got a good nose XD I'll give it a shot today and let you know what I think.
What constitutes "stone fruit"? Everything with the large pit in the middle?
Blueberry Greek Yogurt
- Greek Yogurt TFA 3%
- Blueberry FW 3%
- Bilberry .5%
- Vanilla Bean Ice Cream TFA 4%
- Vienna Cream FA 1%
I think its pretty good, still a work in progress but a good start none the less.
How is the FW blueberry? Most blueberries I've tried are muted when mixed with creams. I now use mainly TFA Wild blueberry with some TFA billberry.
FW blueberry combined with FA bilberry is the only blueberry I will use. FW blueberry is slightly sweet and candy ish, but when combined with fa bilberry it tames it and really tastes amazing to me. I highly suggest fw blueberry, it also pairs well with both fruity vapes and desserts. FW blueberry and CA graham cracker is straight crack to me haha, simple but delicious. Ive thrown out all of my tfa blueberry wild, it has such a muted taste compared to FW.
This is the first and only recipe I've made so far, I only have a handful of flavors but I really do like this one. Let me know what you think!

If you enjoy that recipe, try cutting those percentages in half. You may enjoy it even more. You could leave the Bavarian Cream where it's at and drop the brown sugar to like 1%.
As a kid, my grandfather would take me to Ann Arbor to watch the Wolverines play football. Every game we'd buy a bag of 4 donuts and a mini jug of warm spiced apple cider. So that is why this flavor takes the city's name.
Arbor
- 3% HS Apple Mix
- 1% FA Fuji

Mess with the apple percentages to get it where you want it. HS Apple Mix cannot be subsituted(but percentage can be tweaked if you want), as it is part of the cider and the spice base. Add FLV Rich Cinnamon if you like your spiced cider served with a stick of cinnamon. Next iterations may have a hint of hazelnut and caramel.
Trying to contribute a bit more lately just with some relatively simple recipes.

Best after 2-3 days, could be better after longer. I mix it at max VG. I originally tried it with Cinnamon Crunch FLV but so far I'm not the biggest fan of it. It's very light and has a strange aftertaste no matter the percentage I use it at.
The blueberry wild was a last minute addition. It's my favorite blueberry to use when trying to bring out other blueberries. It has linalool in it which adds a very slight acidity bolstering the existing fruit aspects.
It's meant to be more of a realistic muffin-y flavor with a hint of the blueberry and cinnamon, not the other way around.
blueberry wild, always taste terrible.
I made this with blue muffin at 3% blueberry flv 1% Blueberrt fw 2% It was A1 Thanks for the help!
I'm sorry you feel that way about wild. I only find it good as used in this recipe, as a filler for a missing aspect of most blueberries I've tried. I chose not to use FLV blueberry because it reminds of a very artificial sour blueberry, similar to a blue pixie stick.
Glad you found this useful though!
I had some small bottles of flavor that were mostly empty so I said what the hell and mixed them up.

I tried the original clone. That version had far too much cinnamon for me, but was still delicious. I attempted different ratios but it wasn't doing it for me. I wanted to revisit fizzmustard's methods of keeping it simple. I mixed at 70/30... Play with the wattages. Dripped on a plume veil 1.5 with 5 wrap 26g fused claptons I get notes of the tobacco, creamy butterscotch, and the bite from the graham cracker which adds a delicious bakery undertone. The flavor profile changes on each inhale/exhale. It's quite amazing. Stellar vape imo.

I call it Pearadox. It was inspired by Artifact's Fontana. I haven't tried it yet, but after reading the flavor description, I went for it.
-
FA Pear 3%
-
TFA Pear 2%
-
FA Lime Tahiti .33%
-
INW Lime .5%
-
CAP Sweet Cream 1%
-
FA Fresh Cream 1%
-
CAP Marshmallow 1%
The lime comes through a little stronger than I'd like. INW is fucking strong, so I'd probably drop that down to .25% next round. I'm still really enjoying this though.
A nice, quick little pear recipe:
-
Pear (TFA) 6%
-
Strawberry Ripe (TFA) 4%
-
Honeysuckle (TFA) 2%
-
Toasted Marshmallow (TFA) (Diketones) 1%
(80/20) VG/PG
Overnight steep
The mouthfeel of this is what makes me wet. It's a perfect blend of sweet, tart, and smooth.
The marshmallow really blends it all together and smooths it out (yay diketones).
This started as a honey-pear mix but I ended up liking it more w/o the honeydew. If you want honeydew just add in 2% TFA honeydew and drop the strawberry to 2%.
