I think it would be pretty fun to receive a few bottles of mystery juice. There's always the slight possibility of being poisoned though so, you know, it would have to be an "at your own risk" type of deal. Maybe make it a rule to make them all 0mg and add your own nicotine when you receive them.
Edit: So it looks like an ecr gift exchange is already in affect https://www.reddit.com/r/ECR_Exchange And they do in fact allow diy ejuice so that may be something you all would be interested in. Deadline for sign ups is September 1st though so you have to hurry!
I've been burnt 3 times by online secret Santa's. 3 separate and unrelated communities, including this one (reddit as a whole). My advice is to stay far away from them.

Can confirm, have been ripped off online plenty of times, most recently in a trade from a guy on this sub, I sent 30ml of Strawberry ripe and never got my 30ml of Marshmallow in exchange. Anymore I'd just rather go through paypal, even for a trade, just come up with an amount you're both comfortable with if the other falls through and treat it as two transactions of each of you selling each other something for the same price. You pay a few bucks in paypal fees but you get your money back if they never send you anything.
I was just thinking about a way to send others mixes you've made the other day. I think making a flavor base, and including the flavor percentage to mix it at would be the best way to go about it. And if people are concerned of some sort of poisoning, mixing at 1% at taking a few test vapes might be viable way to test it, but I'm not really sure about that.
This is an awesome idea. Like the other guy said, sending out a flavor base would probably be the best way to do it. I'd love to send out a couple of my flavor Bases, and receive a couple mystery ones in return.
Yeah that sounds like a good plan to me. We could even include some notes with the recipes, like what pg/vg ratio we normally mix it at and what things we would like to improve etc.
Yeah, basic instructions like that would be cool. I think a blind test prior to reading the recipe would be fun. You'd just have to trust whoever sent you the base haha. Assuming they aren't a giant dick sending you something like 10% tfa honey 8% tfa guava haha.
For safety, you could make it where rather than directly sending mixed liquid or flavor bases, you order the person all the ingredients from a reputable vendor and have it shipped directly, with a note that contains the recipe along with recommended PG/VG ratios and steep times. Another option would be to order the flavorbase and have it sent directly from somewhere like vapecrafter, again with recommended PG/VG and steep info.
I like your idea the most. I would want it sealed in some way. Yes I am a paranoid pessimistic kinda guy at times. B-)
Did any of you grow up in the 80's with the urban legend of razor blades in candy bars or apples on Halloween? I never ate anything that wasn't sealed. Trading liquids that you put in your body just seems nuts, sorry. There are just too many crazy people in the world. If anything happens to you just don't blame it on vaping blame it on Justin Bieber or something instead.
There's a reason we put tamper-resistant seals on things that go in our bodies.
Look at /r/ecr_exchange ? I'll be right back to make sure.

Cool! that was recent too. Unfortunately no open bottles of juice so DIY wouldn't work :( We need to make our own!
I thought DIY was okay? We could look into ways of tamperproofing?
Well the tampering would be coming directly from the people making it in this case so I'm not sure how we could make it 100% safe, but we could have rules like must have an account over 30 days old and active on DIY or something. We need one of the mods to chime in /u/Botboy141 !!!!!
