First DIY - Frosted Flakes V1
submitted about 10 years ago by queuetue

I've been enjoying Teleos Experiment One , which reminds me of delicious corny frosted flakes - although I haven't had the cereal in ages.

It thought I'd give it a try as my first DIY, and I got surprisingly close for a first shot ... with a super simple recipe.

  • 5% Marshmallow (TFA/TPA)
  • 1.5% Acetyl Pyrazine (5% conc)

I'm vaping it at 80VG/20PG 3%, and although I'm not "there" yet, it's close enough that I've enjoyed it as my ADV for 2 days now.

Tweaks I'm going to try:

  • 2% / 3% AP
  • Addition of nutty flavors (Hazelnut / Peanut / Pine ) at .25% - .5%
  • A bit of Fresh Cream, to encourage some milkiness.

Suggestions and opinions welcome.

As far as meringue goes in this mix, I think it would lead you away from a frosted flakes type cereal. Meringue emulates that perforated, softer wheat grain taste; while frosted flakes is a dense corn flake.

Just my 2 cents though.

Combine with FA Cookie and INW Biscuit for a grainy bite to your cereals. Use in small quantities though.

Im going to mix this up with like .5 tfa frosted donut. I really feel like i smell a small amount of that flavor in experiment one. Or some sort of frosting flavor, i also considered using vienna cream and fresh cream to emulate it. Ill have to report back tomorrow after i experiment.

when I read this, my brain translated it as cap glazed donut and I was super excited to see someone giving that flavor a chance but then I re-read it and remembered that I should just throw my glazed donut in the trash. :(

Maybe 1-2% meringue or so? Also 1% hazelnut might help. Sounds interesting though.

Yes to a touch each meringue and fresh cream, maybe 1% or so each, but easy with the AP. Unless you want corn chips with your milk=)

Meringue and a touch of joy would probably do wonders.

I've noticed that AP will become the DOMINANT flavor at anything over 1%.

What about tfa dairy? Might help a bit.

this may be a fun fact. currently working on a frosted flakes myself.

TFA Glazed Donut...this is the first thing I have found that flavor too be useful for.

I'm in early works with it, so I can't give SOLID advise. but I can say, I think it has good potential.
