Why is it hard to find good cherry and punch flavors? Anyone have recipes for these?

Being a broke-ass college student sucks, so I figure I might as well get into DIY. I'm sick of having to drive far to buy overpriced juice that is sub-par, so I'd give it a go myself. I'm looking to make a good cherry or punch flavor, and hopefully buy most of the stuff I need locally. Any ideas?

There are only 3 good cherry flavors I've tried, FW Maraschino Cherry, FW Cherry Crush, and FA Cherry. Hangsen Cherry isn't bad, but its a distant fourth to those other 3.

FA Black Cherry as well.

I'd also look into FW Shirley Temple and/or TFA Champagne. TFA Swedish Fish can also help with cherry flavoring

I use black cherry a lot more than regular cherry. I like the deep dark note it has, I use FA Cherry as more of a booster

Have you tried cherry crush from FW? I haven't used mine yet but someone told me on this sub Reddit that it was a good cherry replacement.

I used TFA black cherry with a bit of TFA strawberry and TFA blueberry in a black forest cake recipe. Still tasted like cherry but lost that cough syrup flavour that cherry can get.

I had cherry blossom, and it was pretty good. Kind of like a black cherry flavor if used right. Can't remember who makes it. It was either cap or tfa

I absolutely love TFA's Hawaiian drink. On its own its a little overpowering. But with equal parts dragon fruit, blackberry, and black currant it makes an amazing tropical punch juice.

But yeah, you aren't going to find the ingredients for diy locally.
