#Watch the video for this recipe here: ##LET'S MIX: FUNFETTI
So I teased this recipe some time ago. I was waiting on a steep that I was sure was going to work. But it didn't, and I had to go back to the drawing board. After around 20 different batches, I finally feel like I'm as close as I can get to it.
#So you can check out the full recipe and ALL of the flavor notes on my brand spankin new website DIYorDIEvaping.com.# Here you'll be able to access all my recipes, flavor notes, tips and techniques on mixing, blog rants, and whatever else I feel like putting out. Remember that DIY Live mixing thing I was talking about before? Well you'll be able to chat with me and other guests about mixing and DIY vaping in general. That will take place here too. This is all on top of a shop that's coming soon where you can buy shit to help support me and my channel. You might also notice the InTheMix magazine and podcast where I'm setting up a subscription based newsletter that curated by me and a few other top mixers. More info about that will come later.
For those that are just here for the recipe well here you go.

So like I said before, this was a tough one to crack for me. Which it shouldn't have been. But I think I came pretty damn close to it and it's actually a really fucking delicious vape. If you want to read all the flavor notes on this recipe and how I came up with this stuff you can find them at my site. Also I would love for someone to come along and tweak this to make it much better. I know there's potential for this and I'm sure someone along the way will try something out and we can all make this thing hit 100%.
I love you all...seriously. I'm not fucking around when I say that.
EDIT: PS. to the winners of the giveaways, I'm so sorry for the delay, shipping out tomorrow so you will have tracking. Just been a little crunched up. I promise I didn't forget about you! Plz forgive.
Let's dock manparts.
I didn't have the right cookie! Got to place an order for rhodonite. And I betcha I don't have the right one for funfetti! Holy cow does this really ever end? I feel like I fell down a rabbit hole. And what's weird is, I love every second of it. I'm a sick woman.
First!?
edit: /u/abdada here comes your Bronuts killer.
e2: I fucking love you too, man.
e3: About to read your notes on why you picked what on your site; but, I can see why you picked exactly what you did for your bases.
e4 because I had to: Under VBIC on your site:
> vanilla flavor and muting out certain subtitles.
I didn't know you could mute subtitles, dude.
I won't mix this ever because meduim.
Amateur. Totally turned off. Even Bro-Nuts lost its beauty.
How different is TFA Marshmallow compared to FA Marshmallow? I'd probably have to up the percentage on that if I substituted it as well. Either way, this looks yummy.
Or CAP Marshmallow, since that's all I have.
I used 3% TFA Marshmallow and added 1% FA Meringue since I thought it might be missing a sweet note. I'm not sure how close it is to the original, but it's pretty good like this shake and vape. I'll see how it turns out once it steeps. And it might not be soon, but eventually I'll order some FA Marshmallow and compare it to this.
Interested to see how this turned out. I only have TFA Marshmallow which I'll probably sub for the FA Marshmallow. Let us know!
Holy shit, Wayne. Mixed it up yesterday, and just tasted it. What comes through after 1 day is the complexity of the cake! it definitely tastes like a bakery cake as opposed to a grocery store box cake. The marshmallow really adds dimension to the frosting. And the frosting has that lusciousness. The sprinkle flavor is dead nutz as well. I cant wait until its had time to properly mature. Thanks!
Can't to try this! Also interested in the 'InTheMix magazine and podcast' deal. Thanks for all that you do Wayne! It is very appreciated by me and I'm sure many others.
HOLY FUCK I ACTUALLY HAVE ALL THE INGREDIENTS!
Mind. Blown.
Brb mixing.
I did the same thing: "omg omg omg! With the Joy that came in yesterday, i can make this!!!!"
Totally dig the American Football intro song! Look forward to trying the recipe soon.
I love when people know the intro song. Makes me think there are people out there with good taste in music
What other music do you like? Middle school me was nuts over American Football and Death Cab haha
Damm only 1 missing flavor >_>.
which flavor
So I just mixed this up, finally, last night. I tried it straight away (obviously I had to) and it was ok, I knew it needed to steep more.
But this morning I loaded up some more, and call me crazy, but this tastes like Breakfast at Teleos "Crunch". It tastes like a sweet rice crispy treat.
Don't mean that in a bad way at all, it's amazing, but I found it like a 1:1 clone almost.
For the missing touch, have you tried Meringue along with this? I'm guessing you have, just wondering how it did with it.
I was going to make a suggestion of marzipan based on this authentic swedish princess cake shit I was reading on Wikipedia - but then i realized I was reading about princess cake and not funfetti lolol
edit: I don't even know how i got there, either.
I went from looking at a band's page yesterday to reading about Lodgepole pine trees in a period of 30 minutes. I don't know what they do with my attention span.
IDEK how I got TO wikipedia, though, let alone a princess cake page. Like, I'm on reddit and shit, right? All of a sudden I have a wikipedia tab next to reddit. OH. OH OH. Marzipan. I went from marzipan to princess cake because i needed a memory refresher because of vapingrammy's apple pie/marzipan thread; & wiki's marzipan links right to princess cake in the first paragraph. lmfao. fckn wikipedia.
Looks wonderful, definitely will give this a whirl once my Joy comes(finally giving into the hype).
Based on the profile here, have you considered using FA Oba Oba with/in lieu of FA Marshmallow? It's got that cakey/frosty/marshmallow vibe going on and I think it may work will with this.
Thanks for the post!
Thanks for the share! While I don't have all ingredients to mix this I have already mixed the strawberry yogurt. It smells better than KILOs yogurt mix (by far my favorite vape to date) I'm going for the recommended 3 day steep time. I cannot wait to try it. Cheers.
Edited for spelling.
Figured I'd order some FA Joy from BCV so I could make this recipe, then realized I needed Sugar Cookie and Vanilla Custard.
Then I checked your site.. order grew to 18 bottles. Excited to try some of your recipes. Site looks good. I ordered 2 of the test product that said "Do no order". Clever marketing strategy that.
I know the website is a work in progress, but I wanted to mention that there's not a function to set up a new customer account. Under the "My Account" tab, the only option is to edit, nothing's showing to register. That being said, I just spent half an hour poking around and reading...I love it!
I think adding FA meringue at a low percentage could add that powdered surgar your looking for.
Will be mixing this up tonight, with and without meringue.
Thanks for the share, and as mentionned by many, great website! Hell that could be a membership site at 5$ a month and I know alot of people that would go for it :)
thanks for recipe but am i broken? mixed it 70/30 left it to steep with lid on naturally for 5 days given a shake every day and tryed it 2night in a dripper and subtank mini and just taste like sweet air but it smells amazing..... i dont know whats wrong with me. any advice? mix with a higher pg? or could it be my base? should i mix without nic and see what happens?
any substitutes for the marshmallow and vanilla bean ice cream, i did buy the sugar cookie v2 (which i have know learned the BA is just as harmful), i have mixed this juice and made it exactly as the recipe calls(great mix BTW) but am now looking for ways to avoid the risks of these chemicals?
