Does anyone have a suggesiton on what bottles or vials to get for trying out new recipes? I've looked around and the best deal seems to be vials on amazon that are 5ml and used for essential oils.
Does anyone have a suggestion or link to small bottles or vials they have used?
I use 5ml bottles from eBay (100 for $14). It's a drop-shipper so they get here fairly fast.
I reuse the glass vials (8ml) from the smallest flavor sizes at wizard labs. You need to have a syringe to fill your tank though.
When testing, I make 5ml batches in 10ml bottles. Reason is, there needs to be some space left in the bottle for proper shaking/mixing.
I use these from Fasttech, which are really nice. LDPE plastic, so they are soft and squeezable. The tips are sharp, which is good for loading a tank, if you so desire.
Really cheap, too, if you buy over 5 sets of these. Just shipping takes a little while... you might even find the multi-colored caps useful for cataloging your test batches (although I don't go this far).
I have used some rather cheap 5 ml plastic ones off of Amazon that came from china. Shipping took forever, but they were cheap and served their purpose. The glass versus plastic argument....how long is 5mls of juice really gonna sit around? I've never been a 2 month steeper of anything I've ever made, so didnt think it mattered. I mainly used them to sample a new flavor concentrate. Worked well, although now I'm strictly using glass 15mls as I'm over the hump of mixing shit that ends up horrible/unvapable(and I have a shit ton of 15ml glass bottles around for my business). We tried the essential oil glass 5ml bottles, with some weird ass drip tip type thing on them, and it was a waste of money.
As cheap as the plastic 5mls can be...to me you really cant go wrong trying them out to see how you like.
For sure, I'm in total agreement: 5ml's of juice won't last long and honestly, I can tell with the first couple of drips if that test batch needs tweaking or not, so I typically dump the batch or add a drop of flavor here/there into that little bottle. It rarely gets vaped completely.
If I do cure a mix, I do it in glass bottles. But for a new concept of flavor mix, I do it in little plastic bottles, then decide if I should make 15ml in glass to mature.
edit: forgot a word
I just use 10ml bottles for all my samples/experiments. I've never used 5ml but I'd imagine it's probably easier to just mix 5ml samples in the 10ml bottles. I buy all my bottles from RTS vapes, they're cheap and located near me so I get them in a couple days lol.

These look just like the ones I purchased previously. Take a look at Cwinthrop 's post, as I believe his is incredibly similar and cheaper. Thank you!
My only real adventure into DIY so far has been mixing my 18mg VW juice with VG to cut it down enough so that I can vape it instead of trashing it, but I've used these and these
I've come to dislike the needle type bottles but the second link comes out to be a little bit more than Cwinthrop 's post. Thank you for your input though, I could see myself ordering these if I make a fast tech purchase.

Glass bottles are better than plastic, these are cheap only problem is droppers are separate. .05=15ml
I'm looking for 5ml, which is 1/6 Oz. Do you ever purchase glass bottles in that size? The link you provided goes down to 15ml minimum and goes for atleast $16 more, that's with out even including the droppers. Do you find yourself liking the glass ones more, enough to justify the price difference?
