What would you say is the difference between cheesecake graham and ny cheesecake? I love NY cheesecake but if TFAs could give me a better rounded flavor then i could start combining them.
TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust tastes good with some graham crackery heavy, cheesecake flavors, While TFA Cheesecake taste like spoiled Cream Cheese being licked off of a hobo's foot after steeping.
My bad. (see reply too /u/keggsna where I realize I misunderstood the question)
TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust is more of a full cheesecake where you taste the sweet cheesecake crust (little heavy on the graham cracker portion but tasty) while CAP NY Cheesecake is mainly just the cheesecake portion.
Both tasty, both have a little different take on the Cheesecake portion. you will have to use them both to fully understand more about their "proper" uses if you will :)
Don't Learn to Mix. Mix to Learn ;)
For me ny cheesecake is a must have. Well, so is tfa cheesecake/graham. Just depends if I want the crust in that mix. I have almost all those that doc listed, plus plenty more. The most important advice that I can give is to get a small size of whatever flavor (except inw biscuit if bakery/desserts is your thing, then go big). I have some 30ml bottles of flavors that souned good, and widely used here, but def not for me.
Edit: I didn't really answer your question did I? From the flavs you listed, I recommend fa cookie, cap caramel v2, fa meringue, fa fresh cream. Look up "bronuts" and "SVBICC remix" recipes here. Tasty
For Capella, the flavors I've gone back to buy 4oz of are
- Vanilla Custard v1
- Vanilla Custard v2
- French Vanilla
- Cake Batter
- Sweet Cream
- Sweet Strawberry
For TFA
- Strawberry (Original)
- Strawberry (Ripe)
- Vanilla Custard
- Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
- Bavarian Cream
For FlavorWest
- Blood Orange
- Candy Cane
For FA, these I've purchased 30ml after using 10ml up
- Fuji Apple
- Meringue
- Marshmallow
Edit: forgot Bavarian Cream
How is blood orange? Only experience I've had with the flavor is from sorbet (maybe alcohol as well lol) but it was fucking delicious.
