I don't like that it says you might even like your flavors at 30%, or to aim for 15% as a starter. Or that it recommends mixing single flavors at 5 10 and 15 for testers. It should be more like 1-3, 4-5 and 7-8 percents, and if you think a flavor is strong, don't even try it at the latter.
Just imagine someone making
30% of TFA Ripe Banana
or
30% TFA Sweet Raspberry
That would be a learning experience.
Sure, like we said at the beginning of the article, everyone has their own preferences. I personally know people that mix at 30% and really enjoy it, even though I would totally agree with you and probably gag at 30%
that was also just an example, later on in the article we discuss setting upper and lower bounds as percentages c:
30% is going to cause anyone to have vapors toungue. People think they like it for a brief period, then come asking why they can't taste anything anymore.
Just saying, mentioning 30% to new mixers is a bad idea. People think more flavot = better flavor, and will automatically go for the higher.
It really depends how you're vaping it too. On one of those old pen style vapes that gets almost no vapor, someone might be better off with higher flavor percentage and more PG. If you're like most of us on this subreddit dripping and vaping at high wattages then sure dial down the percentage to a reasonable amount and personally I don't add any PG other than what comes in the flavor extracts. If I used my normally delicious juice but vaped at say...only 20W it would be garbage.
"A lot of flavors list recommended percentages on the bottle.." Really? I've never seen this.
I've seen it. look at your capella bottles. look at FW sight. and I believe I have seen it somewhere on TFA.
