I have tried about 6 different lychee flavorings from various companies and experimented with different mixes with them. I'm not looking to make a blend of different fruits but rather a mostly lychee flavor.
I was losing hope until I tried an obscure brand from ECX which is their "Flavors Express" line. Apparently, they have a company who makes this concentrate for them in China and one would probably have a tough time sourcing it for themselves if they wanted to get it directly from the mystery manufacturer.
Anyway- if you've been trying to make a mix somewhat similar to Bamskilicious Lychee or better, this specific flavor would be a good place to start. When I spoke to ECX they told me they are discontinuing the flavor and are selling what they have left at half price. Needless to say, I picked up about 30x 10ML bottles from their remaining stock. They say to restock this flavor they would need multiple requests for it so if you are a big lychee fan, I highly recommend trying this specific concentrate. I use it with a blend of FA and CAP lychee. Though the FE lychee smells amazing, it comes through pretty weak in the mix so keep that in mind if you think the % is too high. I am currently awaiting a few lemon flavors from FA and CAP to throw in there to give it a bit of a citrus pop but here is the best mix I've made with it so far:
11% FE Lychee
6% CAP Sweet Lychee
2% CAP Golden Pineapple
.2% FA Lychee (1 drop per 10ml)
.8% TPA Lemon (4 drops per 10ml)
1% Sweetener of your choice
So if you've tried an array of lychee, consider picking up one of these bottles to experiment with. Good luck!
Thanks for the recipe. I use to be seriously addicted to Greenhouse One's Lychee, so sweet and juicy, and tons of flavor. Shipping from China is just too darnned expensive now, so I'll be giving your recipe a try.
The stuff on Greenhouse One is actual juice right? Not flavorings? I like how they have a short flavor description without you having to click on each one!
Yeah, it's juice. I've been warned to steer clear of the overseas stuff, but man that was gerat lychee. I'll probably end up getting more sometime but it's like $22.00 shipping.
To me the best lychee around is Flavorah's, I don't know whats in there, but it makes the juiciest e-juice ever. I mean you saliva production is immediatly turned on and get's you drooling.
I like blending flavorah's and Cap Sweet Lychee at a 1/1 ratio. 1% of each is the highest I go, and you get an upfront lychee juice.
Try adding some FA Rose and TFA Sweet Raspberry with my suggested lychee combo.
FLV Lychee is extremely potent and has a very spicy note to it and is pretty floral to begin with. Its like FA lychee on steroids. Im also not sure 2% flavoring would cut it for me, I'm quite a flavor junkie but the raspberry could be a good addition.
Tottaly agree for the steroid part, but after 2 weeks of steeping, it's like the guy that stopped doing steroid for 3-4 months and haven't trainned:P
The combo was not met to be for a stand alone vape, but for a recipe that has the lychee as one of main flavor.
I used that combo for a Champagne, Lychee, Raspberry Rose recipe and i'ts one of the biggest seller with my friends and familly
Has anyone tried vapegoons orgasm? It's a lychee mango that's been my favorite juice for a few months now out of the 50+ juices iv tried. I tried to diy the flavor with capella lychee and it's no where close
No love for TFA lychee huh? It's the only one I've had but I like it in a tropical mix.
Anything else I should pick up at Exigexpress? I noticed northwest VG flavors, anyone tried them?
The TFA lychee is very potent as well- anything above 3-4% and it will dominate a mix and not in a good way since it is largely alcohol based. If you dont already have the CAP sweet lychee, I would also pick that up. Never tried the NW VG flavors but when I have some free time I'll try a few out in my next order, if you pick any up please do report your findings!
Looks like they are out of stock. My store that used to carry Bamskilicious Lychee just stopped carrying it. That was definitely hands down one of my favorite flavors. I would have preferred it in a 3mg though. After getting fed up not being able to find it affordably I decided I would just learn to make ejuice and see if I could make something I was happy with. I have yet to make any yet but it seems most people are pretty happy with CAP Sweet Lychee. So I guess I will start there. I really appreciate your post.
Do you have any tips on making these for someone who has not made ejuice before? I guess I am just a little confused about all the percentages and how to go about making sure I am adding the right amount of everything, along with the best tools to use for measurement.
Well if you have not made ejuice before, pay large attention to the side bar in the diyejuice reddit. It has all the useful info you need. If you really like this juice though, pick up a bottle of the FE Lychee and follow the recipe, Im pretty sure youll like it.
