I made an almost identical mix last month, and while it is good, it's incredibly sweet, and the entire house smelled so strongly of syrupy pancake/waffles that my wife actually had to tell me to switch to a different juice.

Is there a way to counter the sweetness? Maybe add 1% sour? Ooo I bet smooth would cut it down.

Not really sure. I think sour might give it an odd aftertaste, but you could try it on a small batch and see.

That's pretty much why my wife had to tell me to switch. It was making her constantly hungry.

Just mixed up a 10ml bottle. Nice and simple, I like it.

I was looking for a recipe to use up my bottles of Belgian Waffle and VBIC on. Hopefully this is it!
