So this is probably going to be the weirdest shit you've seen on this sub.
I've been mixing my own juice for a few months now, and recently I've run into a weird issue.
My juice tastes like Weed. I don't know how or why, but it does.
It's only when I reach "the bottom of the barrel" so to speak. I mix the whole batch up very thoroughly and after I shake the shit out of it.
Could this mean my nicotines going bad? That's my first assumption but I wanted to check with you guys first haha
And no, I've never used my mod for herbs
If everything you vape tastes like bud, either you/someone else vaped a concentrate in your rig or you have some serious cross contamination in your flavors or vg/pg mix. Nicotine has nothing to do with it and no flavor should taste like that.....except maybe flavor apprentice lemongrass
I'm the only one that uses it, and it's not everything. It's only when I start using the bottom of my juice supply. That leads me to believe that the nicotine is settling to the bottom
What are your bottles made of? Perhaps a sub-par plastic is leeching into your mixtures over time, could account for the bottom of the barrel phenomenon.
I mix in a glass beaker and bottle into plastic ""Unicorn Bottles""(Something like this(not that exact one, don't use for material reference))
If you can nail down the source, you might actually be on to something here. I can't remember which site, but I was browsing e-juice recently and found a flavor that is supposed to taste like weed, but it had dozens of bad reviews from hopeful people who said it tasted exactly like the other kind of grass. (Like from your yard.) Might be an undersupplied demand out there for something like that.
I used to manage at a head shop/vape shop for about 2 a years I ended up carrying a juice called Ganja Juice I believe? I tried a couple flavors and was blown away by how close they were to the real flavor so I ended up ordering the whole line of juice they carried. It sat on the shelf for the entire time I was there. People loved it when they first saw it and where blown away by how similar it tasted and everyone would buy 2-3 bottles but that was it. At the end of the day they all tasted like weed, which honestly gets old quick.
P.S. I also worked in a large area of Southern california in the heart of the main area of LA where clinics are a dime a dozen, so the market it was ripe it just didnt work.
Any flavors shared between all the juices that this has happened to?
Strawberry(Ripe), but I use it in all of my juice and haven't ever had an issue with it. This isn't a new bottle either

sometimes juice really really gets different after a year or so. old nic could be the problem, but id say only if it was poorly stored for a year or more....
I shir you not. I has this same problem with some pre-made juice from where I work. 30 ml bottle, got to about the last 8 ml, couldn't taste shit apart from an odd weed flavour. Turns out I had vapers tongue and just had to switch flavours for abit. Only ever happened with this flavour, which was a banana cream and strawberry flavour if that's any help :)
