Finally making my first submission, I present: Grethari - A bakery pastry filled with ripe peaches.
submitted about 10 years ago by InsigmaTheoryMixologist

So, I've been working on this recipe quite a bit. Its gone through 13 different iterations and its finally at a place where I'm pretty happy with it. I may still tinker with it, since this last change hasn't had enough time to steep yet. It, however, has been the first time I've made it where the shake and vape is not only very, very good. But its actually a bit what I was aiming for to begin with.

Now, before I get to the recipe, I want to make a huge shoutout to u/enyawreklaw, u/botboy141, u/skiddlzninja, and u/abdada. I was originally going to send this to you four to get a review before submitting. But I've been working on it so long I just couldn't wait. Not to mention a huge shoutout to u/fizzmustard. Your artifact line actually gave me a little bit of inspiration for the most recent change. And I've got a few in the works that I've most recently started that are VASTLY improved after really delving into your line's profile. (I will clone buckland some day. I swear.)

Onto the recipe! I present: Grethari

*TPA - Juicy Peach - 5%

*TPA - Vanilla Bean Ice Cream - 3%

*FA - White Peach - 2%

*TPA - Bavarian Cream - 2%

*CAP - Glazed Doughnut - 1%

*TPA - Sweet Cream - 1%

*TPA - Acetyl Pyrazine - 1%

*FA - Joy - .75%

*TPA - Cinnamon Danish - .5%

Now, I've been through using Vanilla Cupcake, Yellow Cake, Brown Sugar, Sugar Cookie, I tried Inawera's Peach, and several other peaches from FA. Honestly, looking at the % they seem really low to me but when I get them into a 70/30 VG/PG ratio its actually much more solid then I anticipated. (The only 2 I haven't tried adding/replacing some parts with is Graham Cracker and Cinnamon Sugar Cookie. I may still try those. But, we'll see.)

There just hasn't been enough peach that I've seen. I'm not sure what it is. I'm still in development of another peach that was inspired by Geography's French Quarter but it still needs a lot of work. (Think a french beignet with roasted peaches.)

Have you tried FLV peach? Recipe looks good.

I have not, I may look into it. The description they use is "Gummy Peach-Os" which isn't something I think would work. But it may be worth looking into. Thanks. :)

Sounds like a new description or something lol. Idk. Its a very good, delicious peach. A bit nectarine like. In combination with White Peach, I think it would work great here in place of juicy peach. But I've only ever tasted juicy peach off a semi-burnt clearo in a b&m

I'm not a huge fan of Juicy peach, too candy like for me.

That glazed donut is a great idea. Coupled with FA Joy, I bet this is solid.

Going to have it mixed up for me today, will report back.

What's the aging time recommendation?

Oddly enough, it doesn't need an absurd amount of time. A few days will get the harsh top notes off from the pesch. Although a week would help.

I've been working on a funnel cake recipe with Glazed Donut and Joy as the main players...you'll love these two together, the flavors are beautiful together.

Dude! Just placed an order for chocolate glazed donut to make bronuts so I can finally use my Joy. Now the only thing I'm missing for this is the glazed donut.
