Yogurt

  • My first whiff of this stuff gives me great hope for the flavor. Whereas other yogurts give off a pungent, unpleasant smell, this flavor gives a delightfully creamy, slightly fruity(?), and vaguely tangy scent. After dropping a drop on the back of my hand and spreading it around, the yogurt scent really comes out. But not the same pungent yogurt as others. This smells more like greek yogurt or maybe even labneh. A quick lick gives me a strong cream. The aftertaste of this is very much like the aftertaste of drinking milk. I'm impressed with the accuracy of this flavor already.

  • Vaping Impressions: Wow. This is a really impressive Yogurt flavor. Even at 2%, it is a smooth, easy tasting yogurt. Slightly tart, like a labneh, at the start of the inhale. Very creamy/milky throughout the rest of the inhale. Sweetness on the exhale. Aftertaste is very milky. Even minutes after vaping, the aftertaste of milk sits on the edges of the tongue.(Current volume= 8.49mL) Adding .8g flavoring to bring total to 3%. At 3%, much of the VG sweetness is removed. That being said, this is still a very sweet yogurty cream. It's very difficult to desccribe this flavor. Almost like a sweetened milk. A soft, sweet cream buttery undertone on the back of the tongue. A tanginess present throughout. A fantastic yogurt if the other yogurts are too harsh for you. This flavor seems to fit the mold that FLV has set for themselves; completely changing the normal profiles of common flavors.

  • I give this flavor 8/10. It could be better, but it's the best yogurt I've had. That being said, it isn't THAT big of an accomplishment, as none of the other yogurts have impressed me.

  • Recommended usage: 3-5%

  • Easy Recipe: 4% FLV yogurt, 1% FA strawberry, some TFA dragonfruit to taste. Fantastic, easy strawberry yogurt. ADV status here.

Lemonade

  • First scent, smells exactly like lemon Starburst candies. Uncanny how similar the scent is. Perhaps the most promising aspect of this scent is that there is no overwhelming terpene scent, unlike most lemonade flavors. After putting a drop on the back of my hand and rubbing it in, I'm confronted with the scent of a freshly opened bag of Fruity Pebbles. It seems as those this flavor may work well in cereal vapes; I'll have to see how it does when vaped. After letting some of the volatiles escape the back of my hand, the light scent of lemon rind is accompanied by a very tart-smelling lemon. Neither scent is unpleasant in the way that most lemon flavors are. The hype intensifies.

  • Vaping Impressions: Flavor is a bit weak at 2%. Regardless, there is a delightful sweet lemon flavor that plays in the center of the tongue, and spreads to the back of the tongue on inhale. Exhale brings sweetness. May be the VG. (Current volume= 8.26mL) Adding .16g of flavoring to bring total to ~4%. The sweetness jumps up to the sides and front of the tongue on inhale. A tart, generic citric flavor on the back of the tongue. Doesn't seem to be the ideal percentage.(Current volume=7.83mL) Adding another .15g to bring total to ~6%. At 6% the lemon flavor comes out quite a bit more. However, I don't see this being a standalone lemonade flavor. Mixed with other fruits and lemon flavors, this can definitely make a fantastic lemonade e-juice. This flavor has less of the terpene harshness(chemically taste) that other citrus flavors have, and it is a very welcomed change. A very sweet lemon, will work fantastically in cereal vapes/fruit loops clones. I may mix this up at a higher % to see if it can be a single flavor juice.

  • I give this flavor 7/10. It's a good flavor, but it is not very true to it's description. I was looking for a bit more lemon flavor, and that aspect disappointed me. Redeeming quality being the lack of chemical flavor in a mix.

  • Recommended usage: 4-7% in a recipe.

  • Easy recipe: 5% FLV lemonade, .5% FA lime tahiti, 1% FA strawberry. Shit is bomb as fuck. Tastes like sherbert, yo.

Tasting them mixed: Really delightful, sweet, creamy yogurt. The tang from the lemon really compliments the yogurt; much like the sweetness of the lemonade bring the yogurt up. As unappetizing as a creamy lemon sounds, this is a really satisfying mix.

Whipped up both of your recipes.

The lemonade recipe is good. Will vouch, definitely a sherbert taste. I don't care for lime Tahiti cold pressed, so I'll tone it down next revision. I'll let ya know if I can add a fling to your recipe. Thanks for posting.

I'm letting the yogurt recipe sit for now.

The yogurt is surprisingly good without a steep. Can't wait to taste is again next week. Glad you like my "3 minute recipe"

I couldn't agree more. I love the yogurt flavor; and it is the better one out of the others I tried (Haven't tried FA Yogurt). The lemonade was a bit of a let down; as was the Lime.

A good Peach Yogurt recipe I made was

  • 3% FLV Yogurt
  • 1.25% FA Peach
  • 1.25% FA White Peach
  • 1.25% FLV Peach

Thanks to /u/tranceinate for the suggestions on the peach combo.

Next Mix will include FLV Strawberry. I got a feeling it would pair well with their yogurt.

Yeah, I hope I can find a use for FLV strawberry. Not a big fan of the jam flavor it has.

Try the FLV Strawberry with some FA Lemon Sicily, cuts out some of that jam. I may also try it with some FA Lime Distilled, if so I'll report back.

Thanks for this review /u/skiddlzninja With your permission I would happily update the flavor description to include the starburst notes etc. Or, please post a review on the flavor pages when it is up.

I didn't think the lemonade wasn't really quite standalone material, I did have some moderate success in a mixed drink recipe with it though. Lemonade/fa gin/orange + bergamot little lime.

I like the yogurt though, definitely vastly superior to tfa greek yogurt, I'm going to compare it to capella's creamy yogurt and see what I think. Interesting notes, nice to see more feedback on them. I do run high wattage (~75-80) so I have to be a bit more sensitive with going above 2% on the yogurt, but at 40-50watts you can probably get away with 3%-4%.

> I didn't think the lemonade wasn't really quite standalone material

So, you think it was a good standalone?

I don't think it is good standalone, sorry if I worded that weird.

Yeah it was a bit confusing haha

Why more sensitive?

more wattage -> more vapor produced -> higher concentration of butryic acid -> taste becomes unpleasant.

i found more flavor with more wattage (in general).

It's not out yet. If you ordered from them before they sent an email telling you to request samples with your next order.

Good stuff, thanks for sharing. Excited to try the yogurt.

> First scent, smells exactly like lemon Starburst candies.

I noticed something similar with a couple FLV flavors, notably the Watermelon - it smells fuckin' identical to a watermelon Jolly Rancher. But it tastes nothing like it.

I'm working on peach and black cherry reviews now. Peach is fairly impressive.

Can anyone compare the Yogurt to TFA Greek Yogurt?
