So as a noobie will do, I stumble into issues, but this one's rather odd. I am using a 50/50 blend (no nic) and I get 0 throat hit, none, not at all. Even when I droped some pure 100% PG on the coil there were still none. I were lead to believe that PG increased throat hit, but is it really all about nicotine or am I doing something wrong?
I feel you. It seems like people waaaaaayyy exaggerate pg harshness. I got 80% pg one time cause I messed up my order lol. I was expecting throat death but it wasn't even harsh. I wouldn't call pg harsh, more like vg is smooth. Nicotine adds the majority of the throat hit to me, maybe you could add menthol if you want to up the throat hit without nicotine.
Yeah, shame that I can't get that throat hit without nicotine. I've noticed that when I use more PG I get a cooler vape for some reason, maybe it's just thinner and thus feels cooler?
FA Flash, I've never used it, but I think it's just what you're looking for
Yeah could only Speculate there. Less heat transfer? Anyways if you want a throat hit you could try citrus and / or mentholated juice. I looooove menthol hahaha. I used my DIY mint juice on ants, they got 3 inches away and ran the other direction.
haha, in fact I were using a menthol based juice when I realised the PG thing xD And I thought that was why it felt so cold, but I swaped it for pure PG/VG base and it remained quite cool. I would guess that PG evaporate at lower temps and thus carries less heat. Or maybe it has poor heat carrying properties, resulting in it becomming cool before it hits. The methol though makes it feel super chill, I kinda digg it.
