Hello lovelies. First of all, thank you all for the excellent reading material & this awesome sub I can almost kinda call a home, of sorts. It's truly wunderful that we can all share advice, experience, perspectives, & recipes here in the art that is flavour-chasing.
But yeah, today's my 23rd anniversary of rebirth, & I'm healthy again thanks to vaping & DIY; & so, I feel like giving back to this community some of which I have learned.
MILF's Milk:
- 6% Vanilla Custard FLV
- 4% Strawberry FLV
- 1% Holy Vanilla DIY Flavor Shack
- 1% Fresh Cream FA
- .5% Marshmallow FA
- .2% Peach FLV OR White Peach FA OR .1% Peach FLV & .1% White Peach FA
- 1% Biscuit INW (Optional)
This started off as a Mother's Milk(I've never tasted the original) clone that I tweaked and used .2% FA White Peach instead of .2% TFA Pear, that slowly evolved into this revision as I found new flavours & a new manufacturer that we all seem to like. This is not a MM clone. It started as a random recipe I tweaked, & eventually wound up as this masterpiece I cherish dearly. 6-7 months of evolution, here. This is my pride & joy. My Every Day Vape. My baby. Mi amor. I can vape upwards of 30mls of this in a day.
Rejuvenate:
- 3% Lemon Sicily FA
- 2% Lime Tahiti FA
- 1% Lime Cold Pressed FA
- 2% Cantaloupe FLV
- 1% Kaktus INW
- 2% Eucalyptus w/ Mint INW
- Menthol, Koolada, or FA Honey to taste.
Great for colds & sinus infections & vape tongue & whatnot. This cracked a childproof cap on a 30ml plastic bottle after a 3 month cure when I went to open & smell it for nostalgia. Be wary of your tanks & whatnot.
PeachyKeen Custard
- 4% Vanilla Custard FLV
- 1% Peach FLV
- 1% White Peach FA
- 1% Peach FA
- 3% Vanilla Swirl TFA
- .5% Marshmallow FA
- 1% Catalan Cream FA
One of the most delicious peach juices I've ever had. The custard(or pudding depending on perspective) & vanilla backed with Marshmallow is on point for taste & mouthfeel, & the catalan cream adds some extra depth to the custard while the spices & background lemon-zest help the peaches to pop. FLV peach is delicious & nectarine-like, hits a lot of middle notes. FA White Peach is a beautifully bright, white peach & hits a lot of top notes for me. FA Peach is a bit weaker & hits the most bottom notes, coming together to round out the mix & create a really realistic, juicy peach.
'Nana Puddin'
- 4% Vanilla Custard FLV
- 3% Biscuit INW
- 1% Meringue FA
- .5% Toasted Marshmallow TFA
- 1% Fresh Cream FA
- 1% Banana MF OR 1% Banana Cream Pie NN
- .5% Brown Sugar TFA
I made this from a recipe I pulled from FoodNetwork. I used toasted marshmallow to add a slight bakedness to the meringue & add some body to the mix like FA marshmallow would.
Checkers Banana Milkshake:
- 1% Banana MF
- 2% Banana FA
- 2% Banana Cream TFA OR 1% Banana Cream Pie NN
- 5% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream TFA
- 1% Fresh Cream FA
Koolada to taste
I made this after a request from my best friend. He doesnt like koolada in the mix in the ranges of 1 drop/10ml or .3% so I leave it out for him.
Peachberry Cream:
- 5% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
- 3% Marshmallow FA
- 2% Whipped Cream TFA
- 1.5% Blueberry FLV
- 1.5% Peach FLV
- .3% Acaí TFA
- .5% White Peach FA
Blueberry, Peaches, & creamy cream cream. Kind of reminded me of Nick's Blissful Brews FRO YO! The Acaí adds depth & darkness to the blueberry while the white peach adds brightness to FLV Peach. Great accentuates here. FA Vienna Cream & Koolada might put you close to Nick's. It wasn't super yogurty. FA Yogurt is more yogurty. Speaking of which, I'll be posting some FA Yogurt recipes here soon.
AB's Super Apple Pie:
- 4% Apple Pie FA
- 1% Cookie FA
- 1% Biscuit INW
- 1.5% Fuji Apple FA
- 2% Pear FA
- .3% Liquid Amber FA
- .5% Lime Cold Pressed FA
- .5% Brown Sugar FA
- .5% Caramel INW or FA or whatever
- 1% Vanilla Swirl OR Whipped Cream FA(contains Diacetyl)
- .2 - .3% Cinnamon Ceylon FA
Inspired by an Alton Brown recipe on FoodNetwork. Botboy helped me with liquid amber.
Artie's Blue Pie:
- 4% Apple Pie FA
- 1% Cookie FA
- 1% Biscuit INW
- 1% Pear FA
- .5% Fuji Apple FA
- 3% Blueberry INW
- 1% Blueberry FLV
- .5% Lime Cold Pressed FA
- .5% Brown Sugar TFA
- .5% Caramel INW/FA/Whatever
- 1% Vanilla Swirl TFA OR Whipped Cream FA(Again Diacetyl)
Made this once for a coworker. Dripped it for a little bit before I gave it to him & it cured. Never got feedback from him. Was pretty good, might need a little tweaking. I need to make it again.
Redberry Pie:
- 6% Swedish Gummy TFA
- 2% Apple Pie FA
- 1% Cookie FA
- .75% Biscuit INW
- .5% Strawberry FLV
- 1.5% Raspberry INW
- .5% Raspberry FA
- 1% Vanilla Swirl TFA
- 1 drop/30ml Dragonfruit INW
- .2% Cinnamon Ceylon FA
- .5% Brown Sugar TFA
I only made this once, at the request of a friend. Could use some tweaking. First thing I'd do is bump the swedish gummy to 8%. After that, IDK. Tweak the raspberry/strawberry Maybe drop INW Dragonfruit. IDK.
Vanilla Pipe:
- 1.5% Vanilla Pipe Tobacco INW
- 2% Vanilla Tahiti FA
- .25% Walnut FA
- .75% Caramel INW
- .5% Toasted Marshmallow TFA
- .2% Dark Chocolate MF
- .2% Cinnamon Ceylon FA
Vapable off the bat, you'll taste more walnut & dark chocolate than when it cures for 30 days. After 14-30 days you can't discern chocolate & the walnut is very minor. I'll increase walnut to .5% next batch. This is a delicious vape after two weeks, & even more delicious after a month. There's a very slight, very light almost-smokiness on the exhale from the vanilla pipe. It's almost creamy when fresh.
Toasted Space - a Space Jam Venus Clone:
This is the 3281471284th revision. I don't even know. My taste buds keep changing & I just dont know how I feel about this flavor profile anymore. It's also been forever since I've had the original. I'm kinda burned out on it.
- 4% Toasted Marshmallow TFA
- 3% Marshmallow FA
- 1% Caramel INW
- .5% Peanut Butter TFA
- 1% Whipped Cream FA
- .2% Ethyl Maltol
- 1 drop/10ml MTS Vape Wizard - FA
- .2% Biscuit INW to help with dryness.
Requires at least an overnight cure or 2-4 weeks.
The battery to this laptop is almost dead, & I don't feel like pulling the charging cable from it's precarious location atm. I have some more I'll post up again later.
Enjoi, you sexy fuckers.
Edit like, #23 or something: Formatting's fixed. 11 recipes down. Let's have some more, shall we? You guys will love this next one, I swear. c:
Cream Brulee:
- 2% Cream Brulee Nature's Flavors
- 1% Meringue FA
- 1% Vanilla Swirl TFA
- .5% Caramel INW/FA
- .5% Brown Sugar TFA
- .5% Banana FA
- .5% Custard FA
This requires at least a few days to a week cure, NO BREATHING. You can taste test, just don't breathe the shit, aiight? When you prematurely breathe alcohol based flavours, you let more aroma molecules & therefore more flavour out of the mix. Just let it cure, yo. There's hardly any throat hit anyways. Shake well before opening. After two weeks to 30 days, this stuff becomes something else. It's got body as a custard should, but it's light & not heavy like a traditional custard is. Upwards to the 2 week mark or so, it's got more of the caramelized crust; but after 30 days it's more like exhaling powdered sugar. Might need to tweak the Meringue/Caramel/Sugar a little bit. Still delicious.
PeachBerry Yogurt:
- 4% Yogurt FA(Contains Diacetyl)
- 1% Blueberry FLV
- 1% Peach FLV
Exactly as it sounds.
Unnamed Yogurt
- 4% Yogurt FA
- 2-3% Banana FA
- 1% Dragonfruit INW
- .5% Apricot INW
Tangy dragonfruit yogurt with hints of banana & apricot.
Candied Raspberry Yogurt
- 4% Yogurt FA
- 1.5% Raspberry INW
- .2% Ethyl Maltol
Sweet, sweet, Raspberry. Still might need a little tweaking, I'm out of Raspberry INW. lol. I can kill 30mls of the above 3 recipes in a day.
RazKola
- 3% Cola INW
- 2% Raspberry INW
- Ethyl Maltol to taste, .2 - .5% or so.
Thugger Juice:
- 4% Grapes INW
- 2% Watermelon LA
- 1% Fuji Apple FA
- .5% Kaktus INW
- 1% Menthol Solution TFA, or 10% menthol solution.
Everything is mixed max VG & vaped around 66-82 watts/joules on 1/8th coils @ 505F, usually. Wicked with Rayon. Recent atomizers were Doge v1, Royal Hunter, now Mutation xS.
Usually twisted > reverse twisted coils. 26g titanium for temp control on my iPV4. 28g kanthal otherwise. I vape around .15 - .2 on mechs..
FA caramel is more caramelly than INW. It's better imo. There's also some sort of fruity note to INW caramel, & it contains caramel color. So. Beware.
Oh jesus I fucked my formatting. Fuck.
My OCD is throbbing...
It's killing mine too; but I'm not editing from my phone. Fuck that noise.
Holy shit, someone's been busy.
You should see all the "okay" or scratched out recipes in my notebook, haha. I'll be posting some FA Yogurt recipes & other recipes soon. I wunna get my hands on FLV Yogurt &&& their new Lemonade so I can clone Wendy's BlackBerry Lemonade. That shit is fucking delicious & I would slaughter things & perform blood magic to have it in vape form.
I'll also be posting my current revision of Kungaloosh soon, a Disneyworld frozen mixed drink from their now shut-down adult night club, The Adventurer's Club. They don't serve it anywhere anymore. Spiced rum, strawberry daquiri, blackberry brandy, OJ & ice blended.
Shit sounds deliccious. I'm getting my FLV order in tomorrow, so I may just grab some wendy's and try to find a starting point for you.
Wordup! About time you got some FLV too =D
I need something other than NF Blackberry. FA's was in my cart during the ECX 4th July sale but then it went out of stock before I confirmed. Grabbed the NF instead for Kungaloosh. It's not bad, but it could be better & it requires a cure.
Happy birthday and thanks for sharing your recipes.
Are you 29 again?
29...again?
I'm 23 lol.
Awesome, thanks for sharing. These look fantastic! Any recommendations for subbing the DIYFS Holy Vanilla? That's still on my "need to order" list (and has been there for a long time)
TFA French Vanilla Deluxe might be close around 2-3%; but I haven't tried that vanilla.
That MILF shit looks so bomb. I'm gonna mix some up this weekend. Nice work!
I'm still waiting to place an order for torrone for your Rhodonite c: I actually need to reorder INW Rasp cause I've murdered my bottle vaping yummy candied yogurt.
These look great. 121 flavors and I can make 0 recipes without subbing at least 1 ingredient. Time to fill the shopping cart.
You're not alone in this thread, haha. I only have about as many as you do.
I haven't ordered any FLV flavors yet, but I have a list going. I think it's about 15 deep right now. Missing about 1-2 ingredients per recipe.
Thanks and happy birthday! I'm all over that PeachyKeen Custard.
It's probably my best friend's ADV. It's omnomnom good.
edit: that, & the checker's banana milkshake. He loves that shit. I created those two recipes for him.
Right on. Peach is probably my favorite fruit to vape on (or eat, for that matter). Not sure if you made the connection, but I'm the guy you helped out yesterday in the thread about swapping peach for strawberry in my Mustard Milk twist. So, double thanks for everything.
Holy crap. I'm not missing any ingredients. This has never happened to me before!
Lol, so what are you gunna make first?
Rejuvenate!
When my sinus' clear up...
Vanilla Pipe :)
Just mixed the peachy keen custard and Nana pudding. I subbed FA banana for the banana. So far so good!
Glad to hear! How much FA banana did you use? I like it l, but find it a bit weak. Haven't tried it with that pudding yet, actually. MF is perfect & so is NN. NN adds some cream as well.
I mixed up your MILF Milk recipe because it includes FLV ingredients I haven't had a chance to mess with at all.
I wanted to give it a shot early on and see if the flavor changed over time. I tried it today (aged 3 days) in my Herakles tank.
I'm getting a really nice, creamy vanilla flavor with hints of buttery biscuit at the finish. No overpowering flavors here (which is good). The vanilla is nice and light. INW biscuit is a pretty good compliment to this juice. I'm not really getting much strawberry at this point. It's definitely there in the smell of the juice and I'm thinking (hoping) that after some more aging it will come out some more. I do get a bit of "plastic" taste (not sure how else to describe it) that reminds me of the taste I get from TFA marshmallow when I'm dripping. I don't normally use FA marshmallow so I don't know if that's where it's coming from or not. It's not overwhelming and fades in and out. Not enough of an issue for me stop vaping it.
I would say the flavor level is right in the middle. Not overwhelming and not anything that would tire the taste buds.
A very good mouthfeel. Light, fluffy and slightly creamy. Has a tinge of dryness from the biscuit but the vape is not dry overall.
Sweetness level is what I would consider on the low side but I would also say very nicely balanced with everything that's going on here.
I initially vaped this at 50w (which is my norm on this tank). I took it +-15w to see if the strawberry would come out. I didn't get any more strawberry that way but I noticed I was getting more biscuit at lower wattages and a richer flavor when I went higher. Nothing too surprising there. I liked it best between 55-60w.
Overall I really like this recipe and the flavor/sweetness levels paired with the light mouthfeel makes this definite ADV material. The more I vape this the more I like it and I don't see it as something to easily get tired of.
Nice recipe and thanks for sharing it.
> the more I vape this the more I like it and I don't see it as something to easily get tired of.
Exactly how I feel about it. This is quite the in-depth review, thank you very much!
Biscuit was the last addition to this recipe, & I can never get this juice to age longer than about 16 days. I also pretty much only use drippers, so I appreciate this insight.
Marshmallow adds a bit extra unflavored sweetness & mouth feel, I'm unsure of the plastic you mentioned.
Before biscuit, on a dripper, I can taste the buttermilk from Fresh Cream shining through the custard, strawberry, & peach's high notes around day 3. Plenty of strawberry & peach notes, as well. Might be the tank versus dripper in combination with biscuit slightly temporarily overpowering things. The slight dryness does come from biscuit as you mentioned, without it the marshmallow adds extra wetness & I can usually blow small droplets of cooled down juice or something out of my nose.
Again, thank you!
I think the plastic taste from marshmallow may be one of those things not everyone gets as I know some will drip a s'mores type recipe with a high percentage of marshmallow and I can't without that weird taste being too overpowering. I will definitely give this a shot in my dripper. I can tell this would be great in there.
Late to post but I just wanted to thank you for posting these. Also, your suggestions on the Peach triple threat and INW Grape. I didn't mix Peachykeen Custard yet but did mix up some
FA White Peach 2%
FA Peach 1%
FLV Peach 1%
CAP Vanilla Custard v2 3%
TFA VBIC 3%
Good lord this is good. Going to drop the White Peach and VBIC to 1.5% and add 1% Fresh Cream. If anyone likes peach try the triple combo, its soo good.
I also tried a non-menthol version of Thugger. Subbed CAP Sweet Watermelon at 1% and its really good too. You are right about INW Grapes. Good stuff.
That is the BEST Venus clone ever. I'm pretty sure they're using TFA Caramel Candy, but I subbed INW for FA and I went through 20ml of it in a day. I've looked at other clones, and read the description provided by space jam. The difference being, how did you know to use so little peanut butter? everyone else is calling for 5%, had I made an attempt that's about where I would've started too. Just interesting I suppose how you knew it was surely a main flavor note, but still knew to use less than 1% to achieve that.
Awh, shucks. You like? Thanks! It's a recipe I used to love. I've heard that once before about Caramel Candy, but I haven't tried it. It's supposed to be FA Caramel. I just ran out of FA one time and when I went to reorder, i figured I'd try INW caramel instead. Bad fuckin' idea, man. Bad idea. FA is infinitely better.
I've read space jam's description a million times & I didn't look at other clones until months after I finished the recipe, then lost it, then started working on it again. I only ever bought one bottle of Venus. It was sooooooooo good though. I remember it fondly. One of the best vapes I ever had. It made a lasting impression. I actually nailed the recipe the first time I ever made it(A week after I killed the bottle 10-12 months ago, when I got the ingredients in), but I lost it because it was saved on a harddrive that failed. Then began a million frantic variation recipes because I didn't remember it by heart at the time, many months ago. 5% peanut butter is overwhelming in any recipe to me.. Peanut butter is a pretty strong flavor IMO & it can also be pretty harsh sometimes. If you know what a supertaster is, my father is one. Not only that, though. He's a supersmeller. His sense of smell is pretty insanely godlike & his sense of taste follows suit. IDK if I'm a supertaster or not, I might be, but not on his level; but I fucking love food. Food keeps me grounded. Food keeps me happy. I try to cook every day.
1% is just too much for Venus. Half a percent is the sweet spot because Toasted Marshmallow & Caramel amplify & potentiate the peanut butter, making it pop. Damn, you're actually making me want to take another crack at Toasted Space again & whip up some batches now that I'm not getting bombarded by bronchitis & sinus infections anymore. Also now that I have an actual magnetic mixer that isn't ghetto and homemade. I just might tomorrow on my day off.
I wish I had read this before I mixed up the second bottle. That faint hint of peanut butter throughout the whole vape is what I love about it, along with the fact that FA Caramel and TFA Toasted Marshmallow are delicious. I thought I wanted a bit more so I did up the peanut butter to 1% and it's not the same at all. I'm not one to notice slight differences of individual flavors too much, but this stood out and as I was vaping it I just thought to myself about how you knew to use so little and still keep it at the forefront AND avoid the dryness that comes with it. I had only ever tried Venus once as well, at a B&M and I didn't even buy it, just chatting with the owner whilst I sucked down the last 5ml in his 15ml tester. I mixed this up and was instantly brought back to that. Thanks again for sharing this awesome and delicious recipe. There's nothing better than mixing up someone's recipe and realizing you don't need to change anything. I'm wondering if I should go easy on it, I surely don't want to burn myself out on it like it sounds like you did.
/u/tranceinate what effect do you get with biscuit at 3%? I haven't used it much but thought it was strong at 1%.
My goal was to emulate a big ass mixing bowl filled & layered with nana pudding & vanilla wafers.
Biscuit mellows down over time & other flavours can sometimes mask it's crunch a little bit. At 3% its the same buttery, crispy-crunchy wafer, albeit a bit stronger than 1%. Depends on the mix as to how crunchy it gets.
Hey, I'm really interested in some of your banana-based mixes. One question though, is this the MF Banana that you're talking about? $22 seems pretty crazy for a flavoring?
Recommended usage = .1% to 1%
You can make a 10% dilution of it & use that for more accurate mixing while learning it's strength.
I have a qq. Do you think i can sub some of the FA yogurt recipes for the new CAP Yougrt? I have found it to be really good compared to the rest.
Really want to try the Venus but turns out that we don't get FA Whipped Cream in the UK. Is there a suitable substitute for it?
Uh, there's absolutely no reason that you can't get it. Order it direct from FA Italy if nothing else. I'll help you find a source when I get home from work shortly.
If you can get your hands on a concentrate that is nothing but 5000 PPM Diacetyl, using 1% TFA Whipped Cream + 1% of your diacetyl concentrate would be the closest substitute at an even 50PPM final diacetyl level.
Is this the correct current version of toasted space? And is tfa whipped cream interchangeable with fa?
Yes & no. I made a 120ml batch Monday. Its already half gone.
BCV,Gremlin,Heartland, none carry FA whipped. I need empty bottles too, 30 and 120. If FA is that different, time to hunt around. Damn first world problems.....
ECX has it, 6cents cheaper than usual
It contains diacetyl, so yeah it's different. TFA Whipped is like vaping air to me.
