Help tweaking a recipe.

Hi all. I've really been liking a recipe which is a slight spin on fizzmustard's Mustard Milk. What I'm looking to do is swap out the strawberry flavors for Juicy Peach (TFA). As of now, the two strawberry flavors in my mix constitute 6% of the recipe. Can someone offer an opinion of what results I would expect in terms of flavor strength by doing a straight up swap to 6% Juicy Peach? Recipe is as follows:

I personally find TFA juicy peach to be a bit overpowering, you might wanna lower it a bit.

I heard juicy peach and vbic don't go too well together tho(someone commented on fizz's Mustard Milk thread). You could try it with some TFA bavarian cream, which I see used with juicy peach often.

I have some Bavarian Cream in the mail. Perhaps I'll give that a shot instead. Anyone else have an opinion on JPxVBIC?

Juicy peach doesn't go well with any creams that I've tried and I've tried a lot. Juicy peach to me is a very fresh drink like flavour that only adds a horrible chemical freshness to creams.

Agreed. It gains a perfumey flavor to me when I try to mix it with creams. I tried mixing VBIC and FA White Peach but I wasn't fond of that mix either.

With that said, what would be a good starting ratio for BC? Would you stick with the 8%BC/6%Peach?

bavarian cream is pretty strong, im extra sensitive to it so i can hardly go 1% but most ppl seem to like around 2-4

This thread could give you some ideas. I'm not a big fan of bavarian cream myself, I probably wouldn't go over 2-3% myself.

You'll have better luck using Flavorah Peach or FlavourArt's White Peach. Keep the VBIC @5 or 8%, use either peach I mentioned at 1.5-3%

Forget this application. Any application. I don't like Juicy Peach at all; that's not to say it's bad, but I don't like it. The other two I mentioned are far tastier, & mix easier/better

I feel ya. What are the flavor profiles of the two you mentioned? I've had some peach juices that tasted like ass (i.e. Vapor Chef's Peach Tea). God, that stuff is awful.

Only one way to find out! That VBIC sounds a tad bit high to me though, might wanna lower it for the juicy peach.

The VBIC works pretty well with strawberry at that level. Are you saying Juicy Peach is a lighter flavor than my strawberry base?

Been a while since I mixed with juicy peach, but I would expect this to be the case. Mix it up and find out! To me the two flavors seem like they may clash, but I don't know tho, never tried it.

I've tried to replace peach in his recipe and IMO I don't think vanilla bean mixes that well with juicy peach. I have found other creams from tfa to be much better for allowing a good mixture of peaches and cream.

I like using whipped cream together with sweet cream because I like how it taste mixed. I like to use a bit if marshmallow as well as vanilla swirl. You can probably get away with a small amount of vanilla bean in there. But you would need to play with the percentages until you get it out you like.

I have CAP Peaches and Cream V2 that I use @ 12% and its good.

So if your planning on buying additional flavors I recommend picking this up.

Its a simple peaches and cream. Nothing like VBIC will give you. But its a great single flavor easy mix.

Only negative thing I can say about it is I had a bottle i steeped for like a month and the peach kinda faded away.

I use JP at 4% and FA White Peach at 2% together in a peach pie recipe, which also incorporates Whipped and Sweet Cream for the creamy topping note in the recipe, it's pretty good. The white peach gives it a bit more bite, with the JP providing the sweeter aspect.

I'd order some FA white peach instead of juicy peach. Juicy peach doesn't play well with creams from my experience.

I did the same thjing OP, with any and all fruits I could think of. The Peach version ended up being:

6% VBIC TFA
2% Sweet Cream TFA
3% Juicy Peach TFA
1.5% Peaches & Cream CAP
.5% White Peach FA
1% Marshmallow TFA
