Rebel's Rowdy Nanas
This is a Peanut Butter Banana Flavor utilizing the PB recipe, Blackout, by /u/Enyawreklaw.
I whipped up a 10ml base, credit to /u/Botboy141 for the math ;) which is as below:
TFA Peanut Butter - 8% = 5.33ml
FA Caramel - 1% = .67ml
TFA Brown Sugar Extra - 1% = .67ml
TFA Bavarian Cream - 2% = 1.33ml
FW Hazelnut - 1% = .67ml
TFA Graham Cracker (Clear) - 3% = 2.0ml
FA Torrone - 0.25% (essential) = 0.17ml
which becomes...
-
Blackout 8%
-
TFA Banana Cream 3%
-
TFA Banana Nut Bread 3.5
TFA Banana cream by itself doesn't hold up well to most things, but I wanted it for its near authentic banana taste when paired with other, similar bananas such as Hangsen. I originally tried it with HS Banana, but the HS banana was overtaking everything, even at .7% with 8% blackout in there.
Banana Nut Bread is a nice banana flavor with earthy tones that pairs well with any other nutty base, so I wanted some of that in there to add banana and peanut butter depth. The Banana cream also lends itself well to the cream notes in Blackout.
This is a nice, smooth, creamy peanut butter vape with a nice earthy nuttiness to it, and a delicious banana kicker on the back end. Excellent juice and I believe the banana combined at 6.5% will hold up well to the peanut butter base.
Bon Appetit!
very interesting.
Need some FA peanutbutter to come in and I will give this a shot. will also try subbing with LA banana cream just too see.
I'm very interested in how the math works out /u/botboy141? pleease.
Torrone? Ugg I never have all the flavor to wipe one up. FA does not have on their site either.
Tbh I dont really notice it but you could sub some coconut extra at a really low percentage to give this a fuller mouthfeel and fattiness. Look up HIC's homevape peanut butter and make your own revision on that. He has AP at 3% but you can probably lower it to 1.5
So if the flavor percentage of Blackout on its own is 16.25%, and you've made Blackout as a flavor concentrate and are mixing that concentrate at 8%, you're essentially halving the percentages of the ingredients in Blackout in your rendition, correct? If I understand what you've done correctly, this should be your recipe here:
Rebel's Rowdy Nana's
-
TFA Peanut Butter - 4%
-
FA Caramel - 0.5%
-
TFA Brown Sugar Extra - 0.5%
-
TFA Bavarian Cream - 1%
-
FW Hazelnut - 0.5%
-
TFA Graham Cracker (Clear) - 1.5%
-
FA Torrone - 0.13%
-
TFA Banana Cream - 3%
-
TFA Banana Nut Bread - 3.5%
Total flavor percentage of 14.63% (versus your method's 14.5%), but this way you can actually mix directly & tweak the entire recipe. Hopefully this helps you, I know it's a but late but I'm busy and I've been working on adding my recipes to DIYorDIE w/ Wayne since we are partners and all, and I saw your take on Blackout and decided to give it a try.
EDIT: I just came up with an even easier way to mix this up, if you already made Blackout! Simply fill a new bottle exactly halfway full with the Blackout e-juice you have already made, or make some and do this. Then add the two additional Banana ingredients in the correct amounts for the size bottle you're filling, and then top off the rest of the bottle with VG! That's all there is to it, and now you've got yourself some Rowdy Nanas mix, though you may want to add a bit of nicotine, since the 50/50 dilution of the Blackout recipe cuts that nic level in half.
