Finally NAILED my favorite B&M juice
submitted about 10 years ago by [deleted]

So I have been DIYing for almost a year now, before I started I was purchasing this really superb Strawberry Lemonade from a local shop. Between one of their workers being a super asshat and their ridiculously high price for a 30ml (almost 20 dollars standard but still a butt raping for sure) I got into DIY and I have found many vapeable if not amazing recipes I like to make. One in particular though...my all time favorite ADV I could never nail and that was a sweet restaurant style strawberry lemonade. I toyed with TPA's lemonade at first and fount it weak and not providing the proper lemonade like qualities. Then I bought a small FW lemonade sampler and it just plain sucked, gave me a dusty flavor even after a week and a half of steeping. Ended up dumping a lot of juice and changing cotton more times than I have ever wanted to. Finally landed on a Natures Flavors (Don't see much about them on this sub ever, they rock) organic lemonade that was very tangy and tastes great standalone but when mixed with any level of strawberry overpowered it and totally killed the juice. Well I love my TPA strawberry alone so today I was mixing a straight batch of that at 9% and decided to throw a little bit of CAP lemon lime in there for a little under taste, I took a shot in the dark and threw 1% of that in there and about 5 drops of FW sour as well. Shook it and intended to sample it and then throw it deep in the steeping chamber for a while. BOOM the exact Strawberry Lemonade I have been wanting. Almost positive it's spot on with the recipe they use at DOUCHE CENTRAL B&M. I mixed this up about 3 hours ago and at least 10 ML is already gone, it's just that good. TL:DR Made my favorite house juice on accident today, wanted to share with you guys.
Recipe:
11% TPA Strawberry (Non-Ripe)
1% CAP Lemon Lime
5 drops FW Sour per 30 ML optional Could switch out for sweetner if that's your thing
Please Lemme Know what you think if you whip it up and try it. Those of you that have more self control than I lemme know if it could benefit from a good steep.

Any thoughts on subbing CAP lemon and lime for TPA lemon and lime? Only have the TPA and no real idea how they compare in strength or flavour.

I was thinking the same thing. Although I always like to completely replicate a recipe in order to give good notes on it, not sure if I wanna buy more lemon flavoring lol. If anyone does know how these two Flavorings compare please share!!

I have never had TPAs version so I cannot speculate as to if it will yield similar results. With most of my TPA flavors I do need to use a higher percentage than with CAP flavors though, so it could work if you were to add maybe two or three percent anybody who has both care to add?

Yes, but on second thought I'm thinking slightly less sour. Or maybe none at all depending on your preference.

Another good recipe for a 30ml bottle (if I remember correctly) roughly 1ml of lemonade from LA, 2 of cap strawberry, and drops of sour till desired effect. I do around .2ml.

Congratulations, this is about the best feeling one can have, the feel of success!

How does it steep? Is it still good after 3days, a week? I know you cannot say just now, but this is seriously to be considered.

After I finish off some watermelon sour patch that is taking up my 120ml I'll make a big batch and post results of steeping here.

I think I'm the only person in this sub that doesn't care for tfa strawberry. I've tried it several times, tried really hard to like it, I just don't. I'll try this out and see if I can like it. I'm sure it's a great recipe.

I'm with you on that. I can vape TFA strawberry if it's freshly made but after a couple of days a bitter taste starts to creep in and it eventually overpowers my taste buds. It's such a shame because it tastes so good to me initially.

I personally think their Strawberry Ripe is so much better.

I have found it to be quite pleasant. Haven't ever noticed anything wrong with it. Have tried a few other strawberry flavors, keep coming back to this one.

Does this b&m have a juice called white mousse by chance?

What percentage would you guess for sour?

1 points

by cash_shamelabout 10 years agoMixologist

maybe .75 percent. TO ADD my mix came out a little strong on the sour side. Maybe use slightly less or more strawberry or if you aren't into sour you could use a couple drops of your preferred sweetener.

So something around .5%?

Yes that should work and as this is still a work in progress I'm gonna go ahead and up the strawberry to 11% isn't just quite as sweet as I want it to be.

I have some CAP Lemon Lime on order but is 1% really all you need to get a really strong lemonade flavor?

Tried using LA Lemonade but even at 10% it's barely there.

Yes 1% or maybeeee 1.5% is plenty depending on your taste buds.

Cool, I'll give it a try.

I really like to have the flavor punch me in the face

I can vouch for the goodness and the strenghth of cap lemon-lime. I used it in a lemon pound cake posted here last month, and at 3% it is def too much. Funny that I get 0 lime flavor...

I want to replicate a flavor called enigma 6 that I know has green apples but that is all they let me in on. They also have a bomb ass pixie stick flavor
