So I promised I'd have something special for you guys as a "thank you" for all the support you've given me.
I just launched the website for Artifact Vapor Craft, so if you're curious about what I've been working on, give my juice a shot. I'd be very humbled. This is a representation of my palate, and where I am as a mixer – but I wouldn't be "here" without all your constant support.
To that end, I'm adding a permanent 10% discount code for members of the /r/DIY_eJuice sub. It stacks with any other promotions that are running, so you'll always get the discount. I'm running all flavors 10% off for the next week, and this code will stack on top of that.
DIY Code: DIYISBESTY
I know it will leak out...I mean, this is a public forum after all...but it's for you guys.
Questions? Comments? Fire away.
Thanks, friends!

Whoever posts this on ECR gets daily dick pics from me for as long as they are active on reddit. And I'm good at that Google thing, so they'll be cheesy, crusty fat guy dicks.
See if you can incorporate Mexican food into the shots as well.
Fizz Khalifa
The Fizzard of Oz (double entendre for Oz, if you mix imperial or metric)
Fizzy Gilespe
All that aside, congrats on your juice line and website. I think I'm going to place an order soon. Of your recipes, which did you want to spend the most time perfecting? Not necessarily the one you spent most time on but the one you wanted to perfect. Aka which ones your favorite haha.
Edit: also, when I go to add the promotional code to my card containing your 5 pack for $79.99, it says the item in my cart doesn't qualify for the code. Is this an error or will it not work due to it being a discounted multi-flavor pack?
"fizz khalifa" might have been the highlight of all the comments I read last night :D
"Favorite" is tough. I didn't release anything I wasn't 100% behind, or didn't find myself reaching for repeatedly. Buckland was the one I most wanted to perfect because I really wanted something that went well with a pale ale, and it really paid off.
The code only works on single bottles, not the multi-pack since it's already discounted (5 bottles for the price of 4).
Best of luck to you man. I hope you don't get too busy to share your recipes and knowledge here still :)
Can't wait to try some Artifact.
Rats! Does not work on the full line (which is already discounted from the 5 individual bottles).
Congrats on the opening BTW, looking forward to trying some!
Just a heads up. It might just be my browser, but when I select a mg level, it does not show in the menu, but it IS selected, as I can see it in the cart after adding it. If that doesn't make sense here's a screenshot.

Same here, using Chrome.
FYI, this script is missing(404): https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0902/4572/t/2/assets/variant_selection.js?16800454962737245824 Since it deals with option selectors, that's probably your culprit.
Thanks for pointing that out. I removed that script (it wasn't being used in the Shopify theme I started out with). Can you take another look and let me know if it's fixed?
Naw, that's not it. It's the padding on the .form-control css class that is making it not visible. Either change the .form-control class in each product style to "padding: 0px 0px" (it is currently "padding: 16px 12 px") or add style="padding: 0px 0px" to the form control itself (so it would be <select name="id" id="productSelect" class="form-control" style="padding:0px 0px"> for the select control).
Basically, the top and bottom padding (16px) is waaaay too high and is leaving no room to actually render the text.
Awesome to see someone from NC putting out a line! Just ordered some buckland, as an huge IPA fan this sounds right up my alley. Got any recommendations on superb beer pairings?
I'm assuming you're in NC as well.
*cracks knuckles*
These are all Buckland tested and approved:
- Oskar Blues Dale's Pale Ale and Pinner
- Foothills Hoppyum
- Uinta Hopnosh
- Catawba Le Sexxxy Saison (sadly out of season), Mothertrucker Pale
- Pisgah Pisgah Pale and Greybeard IPA
- Sierra Nevada Pale
Those are just off the top of my head and I'm surely forgetting some. What local/regional brews do you like?
Congrats Fizz, the success couldn't have gone to a better and more genuine person. You've truly been an asset to this community, and your presence here is greatly appreciated.
Widow's Walk has elevated my aspirations as a mixer, as it's truly one of if not the best liquid I've ever sampled. It hit every pleasing note to me, and is just a phenomenal work of artistic ability and skill. So, thank you for that as well.
Aw thanks bud!
That's ridiculously high praise for Widow's Walk. Geez. Aren't you sort of working on cloning it? You'll have to post it here if you ever crack it :-p
I actually just placed a fairly good sized order, there's definitely a dozen or so flavors in it to at least attempt to* emulate what you've created. The whole "custom" flavors thing leads me to believe it may be a lost cause; but I won't give up easily! You've dropped subtle hints here and there, so I'm working off that! I'll be ordering a bottle or four here in the next month or so. Not since Black Out City( WW is better) have I been so amazed by a liquid.
I think I'll be skipping my biweekly extract order to buy your line.
I won a bottle in your contest! I'll be sure to do a write up once I receive the juice. Thanks Fizz, I wish you the best of luck in this endeavor.
Picked up some Fontana in 3mg, cant wait.
Be sure to let me know what you think!
You're the embodiment of what many of us dream about. Best of luck to your business ventures! I'll be placing an order soon enough to check out what you've come up with. I could use a break from trying to mix up my own creations ;)
I'm curious if you'd be willing to share the recipe for the juice you decided not to sell, the one that Genoa replaced.
/u/fizzmustard id buy all 5 if they were to find a way outside of the us.. I dont know if he is willing but spiritusvapes.com is a uk shop site that imports us liquids.. Maybe you could give him a try?
How do I get ahold of you? An email address? or just call the three stores?
your site is very nice, your flavor descriptions leave me breathless, the packaging is clean and inviting I am left wanting to try them all.
Are you saying that anyone on this sub is always going to get a 10% discount for the rest of our vaping lives?! O!>! whoa...That is most generous of you.thank you!
Your full line comes today to my mail of box; work needs to end, vaping needs to begin!
I'm probably more excited to hear what you think than you are to receive the line :-p
Thanks for the support, you folks are all outstanding.
A+++ would community again!!!!1
USPS lied to me, said delivery was today; probably tomorrow. :'(
I'm definitely excited to taste and review your juice; I've enjoyed your mixes you've released so hopefully our taste buds are still aligned!
Hey, was looking through your submitted posts to find your nana cream recipe (it's my ADV) and noticed you posted your artifact line awhile ago under 'archetype'. My question is, what happened to redcaps? That sounds like an amazing vape to me.
"Archetype" was the original name I started using on a whim during the seminal stages of the line. I quickly found that another company was already using the name, but it's for the best because "Artifact" much better aligns with my philosophy on the brand.
Redcaps originally used a flavor that contained diacetyl. The manufacturer of that flavor, FlavorWest, lied (and continues to lie) about the presence of that molecule in some of their flavors. I, among many others, have had this independently verified through GC/MS analysis. I won't get into the question of diacetyl's danger – though I do think it's harmful – but more importantly, I refuse to use a manufacturer that I cannot trust. So, Redcaps was shelved until I could source flavorings that I could 100% verify do not contain diacetyl, acetoin and/or acetyl propionyl.
Redcaps will be released next year in the second round of Artifact flavors. Glad to hear you're interested :)
I should also mention that I'm releasing a new seasonal flavor, Sycamore, in just under a week on 9/23. It shares quite a few notes with Redcaps.
Thanks for the thorough information!! I can't wait to try Sycamore and Redcaps! I am glad that you put so much attention into the ingredients, it really shows. Genoa was my favorite when I first tried it, but Fontana is my favorite. The pear is subtle, but the taste is spot on. I love that I've been tasting these, running a tank once every few days, and I taste different notes each time, like I'm learning the flavors. Still haven't touched Widow's Walk yet, but Buckland, Genoa, Fontana and Skullflower have been amazing! Any more information on your seasonal run? How long it'll last or what flavors are releasing beside it?
Thanks!
