Just cover with scotch tape after.
The ink won't rub off. Until you are ready for it to. Then you can just remove the tape. No residue!

Would you accept this from a business class bottle? This may be the revolution we need for some of those hard to sharpie labels... Also would keep paper labels from getting funky....
I would expect the price to drop if a business took to selling juice with these labels instead of printed ones.
Half of how I determine good juice is by the packaging. If they gave no shits about the product, it probably isn't reliable, therefore I'm less likely to pick it up.
I did not suggest that a business write by hand on their bottles. For one you are very right, and two, how do they keep up. But some businesses have a range of options on their sticker, such as 'max VG' or how much nicotine is in the bottle. So instead of having 100's of different stickers per flavor, it's one, and they mark what's in the bottle. And they can add a born on date as well.
But good shiny stickers don't take marker well, and it rubs off. That's what I was suggesting, scotch tape over those marks, and done well, I think it could look good...
