So I have a ton a flavors and very little experience thus far. Its a bit overwhelming trying to figure out what to mix next and trying to figure out what the different flavors actually taste like. I was thinking about mixing every flavor I have in individual 15ml bottles. I could then drip different combinations on a dual coil dripper to see what flavors go well together. Would the flavors be represented well or do they need to steep together to get the full effect? I was thinking about mixing everything at 10%, except for the FLV flavors which I would mix at 5%.
This way I was thinking I could spend a few hours getting everything mixed and then at my own pace try different combos of flavors. I would love to know what you veteran mixers think about doing this, Thanks!

Anyways here is what i suggest.

B prepared to take extensive notes. I actually take my notes on one single flavor and it covers pretty much the entire page.

write how it smells in the flavor bottle, write how it smells in the mixed bottle.

mix at different %'s I usually do 1%, 5%, and 10% (unless I can already tell that, that flavor will take my soul If I were to vape it at 10& I.E TFA Pineapple, Banana Ripe and Menthol for example)

write down the inhale flavor and the exhale flavor

write down any sort of after taste.

write down ANYTHING that stands out

write down any kind of feeling it gives I.E creamy, powdery, dry, wet etc.

write down if it changes from time to time on you (like from one vape to the next does it taste slightly different)

anything else you feel might be important side notes for this flavor.
then I usually can just identify what flavors would probably work well with it. I wouldn't start mixing flavors on coils and such. once you have a good enough Idea of a wide variety of flavors, your palate will naturally start knowing what goes and doesn't go.

I test flavor combinations this way. It's quick and easy with little waste. But, I don't have them all mixed at 10% - I keep a few ml's premixed closer to their max recommended range and go from there. Count the drops into a contact lens holder, and mix with a .2ml pipette. Works a treat. Easy to figure out the percentage of each flavor from there.
