I think the stuff smells pretty damn good honestly, I don't get the stale beer smell.. I closed my eyes and imagined a fairground, and well I think it smells just like the description! Now..I want to mix some stuff today, anyone got a decent starting point? I saw this one which I am going to start with today.
nJoyApple
- Fuji Apple 4%
- Custard 2%
- Meringue 1%
- Apple Pie 1%
- Joy 0.75 %
- Cookie 0.5 %
- Hazelnut 0.5%
- Vienna cream 0.5%
- Fresh creme 0.5% All FA flavors
I only have FW Hazlenut and a 8ml of both TFA/CAP Apple, should be a decent sub I would imagine.
Anyone got ideas floating around in their head, please share!
Bronuts for sure, maybe I'll try State Fair too. I'm pretty excited. Even if the flavor sucks there are definitely some things I want to try it with.
Fyeah to Bronuts. /u/ChicagoPrinter gave me a 60ml batch yesterday. Holy crap.
I spent the morning trying to clone it PG free. No go. So many beautiful lagers of flavor and I have no extra cash to GC/MS those new FA flavors. FA Joy goes to GC/MS in October tho.
BTW I got Rainbow Sherbert concentrate in my goodie bag, smells great - gana whip up a 60ml of that right this second :)
Somebody posted a bearclaws recipe yesterday that uses Joy.
I also think I found one here called State Fair, but since my SO is not a fan of strong sugar cookie flavors, I'm planning on subbing INW biscuit for the cookie ingredient.
Man I have yet to try INW. I gotta score me some biscuit and cactus stat! Thanks for the info tho, I will search for those :)
I will try to source credit for who posted the bear claws recipe (obv not mine.)
Recipe:
FA Joy 2%
Fa Marzipan 2%
FLV Cream 1%
Acetyl pyrazine .33%
FA meringue 1-2 drops per 10mL (he said this was dependent on how much of a sugary glaze frosting taste you wanted, but too much and it would definitely take on more of a meringue taste.)
I didn't want to open a new thread as I know a lot of people ordered from this group buy. What sample did you all get? I got Awesome Apple Pie.
Any recommendations on the best PG/VG level?
After reading Botboy's v2 apple pie thread, I'm bummed that bully city vapes was out of fuji apple (but they did have Amber which I did buy!) Glad to hear he used it to do a good baked apple taste, which gives me more info with how to use amber.
The V2 isn't as good, just different. V1 is definitely where it's at.
I'd say about 30% got Awesome Apple Pie, the rest received Vicious Vanilla, Pleasing Peanuts or Rainbow Sherbet with maybe a couple other randoms thrown in there.
I completely missed the group buy :( oh well, but this recipe looks really good. Nice work
