Recipes with INW Cactus
submitted about 10 years ago by CVRNAGE

The other day I could've sworn I saw a recipe that contained TFA Watermelon and INW Cactus (and some other fruits). But I can't seem to find it with the search function (the ones i found weren't what i recall seeing)

So anyway, what are your favorite recipes that include IW Cactus?

Here is one from the July recipe thread. Probably the one you were thinking of.

So, what's exactly is the deal with INW Cactus? I have it on my shopping list, as I've seen a few recipes calling for it, but from what I understand, there is not much flavor to this concentrate, but it somehow adds "moistness" or "juiciness" to a vape? I'm assuming Cactus would be good for fruit mixes?

It does add real juiciness, and a light aloe vera flavor. It's delicious and goes well with so many fruits.

Doe s the flavor mellow over time? I have a mix that I just made last night at 1% cactus with 1 of marshmallow and 4 strawberry ripe and 4 strawberry sweet. And the cactus note is dominating the strawberry. I know that this strawberry combo becomes more pronounced after a few days but I jumped the gun and made 120 of this and I don't know whether I want to wait it out or and another percent of each strawberry.

It does mellow a decent amount, the florally(?) aspect tones down

It makes a great background note for fruit flavors. I use it in a watermelon, strawberry, dragonfruit mix and it's fantastic!

What is your total fruit percent and cactus percent?

It definitely adds a juicy mouth feel when added to watermelon, in my opinion.

It definitely has a flavor :) I have to mix it incredibly low because I can taste it over almost anything. It's my "go to" to reset vapetongue :)

I really like it with LA orange and FA key lime, but everything fruity and/or citrus seems to go good. I almost always have a lime, cactus, and "other" experiment going on :)

Has a sort of "green" taste, hard to explain but you can definitely taste it. Goes well with a lot of fruits.

I posted a recipe involving CAP Watermelon and Cactus called The Quenchiest. On mobile and not sure how to link...
