Is it just me, or does FLV Crunch Cereal taste like complete ass? How do you use this stuff?

Made a batch of standalone at 4% and even after 10 days, it is still just absolutely awful.

I've seen it used in recipes at anywhere from 0.5% to 4%, so I'm just not sure what it's best for or how to use it.

Should I just throw a bunch of fruit flavors at it? Does it need some sort of cream to make it vapeable? I like crunch-style vapes, so I'm hoping this wasn't a total waste of $6.

I like this flavor a lot, gives off a legit captain crunch flavor. I use around %2-3 percent depending on if I'm going for a crunch background or a prominent crunch with %3. Your taste buds might just not like this flavor.

You know I got some as well and played around with it a few times. Not all is lost on it yet but as far as initial R&D its just not working at all for me.

Botboy posted a cinnamon toast crunch recipe using that flavor in the july recipe thread I believe. Have you tried that yet?

The only juice I've made with it included a bunch of fruits in an attempt to make a pebblesish juice. I think your post confirms my suspicion that crunch cereal is what made it taste like what I can only assume drinking the liquid from the bottom of a fast food joint trash can would taste like.

I haven't used it, but I know some flavors are really strong. It might be that .5-2.5% is the sweet spot for you. More flavor does not always equal better flavor.

This was a recipe I threw together when I got my FLV shipment. I find it tasty.

  • FLV cereal crunch 2%
  • FLV boysenberry 1.5%
  • FLV cream 1%

A few days to steep makes it better.

Use it at 0.5% or lower to add a doughy and rich flavor to your mixes. Used at a higher % or used as a standalone it will taste like wet socks.
