My wife made a vinaigrette for a salad and I thought it needed a little something. I ran downstairs and grabbed the Raspberry concentrate and put 2 drops in and turned it into a Raspberry vinaigrette.
Have yall actually used any of your flavorings for food?
I use quite a few of my flavorings for iced coffee, the most often being INW Raspberry.
Good choice. ;)
About how many drops do you put in your coffee? I assume it's like a medium iced coffee size?
OMG Are you sure it's safe to eat?!? ;)
Of course. These flavors were around long before vaping. Just took some smart people to put them to "proper" use=)
We use it to flavour milkshakes. My wife nearly had a heart attack when she came home to the kids and myself drinking 'Vape juice' until I pointed out that this is actually the original use for the flavours and there is no nicotine in it.
I've been adding flavoring to my protein shakes for years. No more trying to add stuff without jacking calories/sugar/empty carbs up. Just pick the flavor and add it in
Holy shit... Awesome idea. I've got a tub of vanilla protein, and I'm about to get back into the gym after too long of a hiatus.
I do it because i want to lose a pretty large amount of weight, so im doing protein/meal shakes. As a fat kid being able to add flavor to each shake / drink /thing is incredibly helpful
A few drops of a Nana Cream clone makes a gin and tonic so amazing.
I didn't even think to use it in booze wow
I feel like this has opened up a whole world of alcoholism and drunken experimentation to me. I cannot begin to express my thanks.
Inawera even has the category flavours for alcohol.
They even have the dye of caramel coleur. "1kropla to 0.5 liters of alcohol" give a whiskey like color.
Literally just put a drop of Vanilla Swirl in my diet coke to give it a bit of yummy-ness haha
OMG! DIY Vanilla Coke, why the hell didn't I think of that?
This is one of these "damn I feel dumb" moments. My wife has been bitching unmercifully for years about Cherry Vanilla Doctor Pepper getting pulled every time we go to the grocery store.
The weird thing is, it did occur to me ages ago to put 2 drops of Earl Grey flavouring in my cup (rather large cup - one drop for a regular cup would do it) of regular tea. Works great!
But yeah, I feel really dumb for not thinking of Vanilla Coke, I love the stuff.
It would be nice for smoothies, since then you can just mix milk, ice, and banana and add fruit flavors. Not as healthy though.
> Not as healthy though.
Don't worry, I heard a nutritionist on the radio the other day (discussion about the levels of sugar in fruit) saying that smoothies aren't as healthy as everybody thinks as you break down the fibre in the fruit by processing it rather than letting your body do it. So it's probably just as healthy since you might not be getting the fibre from the fruits you are simulating (and you wouldn't have been getting as much anyway by pulping it) but you aren't getting the same level of sugar either!
My wife is a candy/dessert/cake baker, and I have been kicking the idea around of making vape-flavored candies. Non-nicotine of course, but I can't help but think that homemade jolly rancher style vape candies would be awesome.
I LOVE a couple drops of Cinn-Full Pear in my coffee with cream and sugar. I've recommended other try it for a long time, and most do, but usually after giving me a funny look like I'm insane. :) My wife likes either Lime or Wintergreen in her bottled water.
