This is the first recipe I came up with that I really enjoy. I'm pretty excited to share it with you guys. I just started DIY about a month ago. I'm really glad I made the switch. I lurked this sub for a good year before I decided to make the switch. Juice Wayne's DIY or DIE channel on YouTube really convinced me to take the plunge into this. I thank all of you guys so much for all that you put into this community. Without further ado here is my recipe. Any criticism or suggestions are welcomed as I have pretty much no experience so far.
Vanilla custard V1 (CAP) 7.5% Caramel original (TFA) 3% Sweet cream (TFA) 2%
Needs an overnight steep not a good shake and vape at all. The caramel really comes to life after 2-3 days.
If you switch the Capella Custard to TFA's Custard, you'll have a clone of Tug Juice's Creamynibbles
Same percentages?
Sorry man, didn't see this reply. I usually do
- 7% TFA Vanilla Custard
- 3% TFA Sweet Cream
- 5% TFA Caramel (Original)
It's not a 1:1 clone, but if your a fan of that juice, you'll probably like this. Btw I also like to add TFA Candy Caramel @ 1.5% but the recipe does taste good without it
Ive never thought to add sweet cream to custard. I may try your recipe as I love custards and I have a huge bottle of sweet cream to go through.
If you like coconut, a dash (like .5 to 1%) of coconut extra adds a nice new dimension to vanilla custard.
ITS A MUST!
Dulche / sweet cream / bavarian in custard take it over the top.
Looks good. No problems with the Caramel overpowering your other flavors after steeping? Every recipe I've tried with Caramel between 2-4% winds up tasting like pure caramel
This turned out to be quite good. I made some 4 days ago and just now got around to trying it. I used V2 of the custard but otherwise followed the recipe as is. The caramel/custard balance is spot on. I'm thinking this may make a good base for something a little more complex. Maybe add some kind of berry/fruit and/or tobacco. Have you tried doing anything like that?
can the caramel original be replaced with DX caramel original?
Not sure I've never worked with it. You're best bet is to try it out. Post back and let us know!
