First timer question
submitted about 10 years ago by BigComfyCouch

So I've done plenty of homework on reddit, YouTube, and other information saturated sites, and I'd first like to thank you all.

I'll keep it short, but I quit analogs almost 2 months ago, and the community is definitely a contributing factor, so I need show a little gratitude.

HOWEVER, onto my question. I've yet to stumble over one small thing. I have some higher Nic juices from when I first started. I'll be giving some away, but some I really love. So, I want to thin them out. 1) is there a calculator that will factor that in, or will I need to guess-timate? 2) is the steeping process and mainly time length about the same?

You can thin out juice using my calculator and using 0 for the nic level you're mixing in.

Dunno if it'll be helpful because I'm no coding design expert but it works for me.

Please let me know if you need any features added.

It's definitely confusing if you're trying to dilute the nicotine, but I understand that it wasn't created for that. It works for me, and I've bookmarked it for future use.

Dammit, I just woke up when I posted this, and overlooked the newbie designated thread. If. A MOD wants to delete this, I'll repost in there.

Looks like you've already found your answer. I figured I'd mention, once you find a recipe it like and buy in bulk, your few 30mls (or however much you have) will be such paltry amounts. I usually mix 180-360 ml at a time, and once u get rolling, it only takes like 5 minutes.

forget all that. just buy the same juice in 0 and do a 1:1 ratio to cut it in half. so if you have 15 ml of 24% nic juice, mix it with 15ml of 0% and it will be 12%. if you only want 6%, mix it with 30 ml of 0% juice. if you want 3%, u know what to do. I don't understand your 2nd question

The second question is aimed towards if i add my own pg/vg. Will it have to re-steep again because I'm adding more, or just a good mix/water bath.

If you add pg/vg it will cut the flavor as well as the nicotine

Yea I was planning on adding complimentary flavors to make up for that. I'm just not big on wasting things I've payed for.

if you're using another flavor that hasn't been steeped, yea. as vapingrammy said, PG/VG alone will dilute the flavor and theres no steeping that will save it.
